I have an early generation Sun Mountain cart that has the 12.5 x 2.25 inflatable tires. Last week, two of us in the group limped back to 18 with a flat tire. Seems they have some nasty, low growing weeds with thorns here in Yuma. We had both helped out looking for another players ball, in an area we'd not been before. Anyway, new tubes purchased and installed and we're good... for now. Someone mentioned the use of a product "Slime" that is a protector/sheath between the tube and tire inside wall. Anyone familiar with and use this (or like) product? I also see that a new set of "no flat" tires can be purchased, but they were $80. This option might be the better long term solution, but some say they do not roll as well?
Well it doesn't officially begin until November 6th. But for me the season kicked off this week when I attended the Baltimore Area Media Day for the Division 1 schools in this area, only one University of Maryland declined to attend. I guess they have other things going on in the athletic department these days!
But for me it was a great time to get out the old notebook talk to all the area coaches and start planning my hoops schedule that keeps me pretty busy all winter long.
Here's a tweet with a quick look at the media day, some of you may recognize your's truly, for others that don't I'm the big galoot in the pink shirt.
But more importantly let's kick this thread off with some hoops talk. Whose your team, what if any more fall out do you see coming from the adidas scandel last spring. Players to watch, teams to watch, Final Four predictions...etc.
What all do you put in your push cart consoles? Just picked up a Sun Mountain Speed Cart GT, haven't played a round with it yet. What all do you put in the console besides the scorecard? Just curious what you all have deemed most useful and/or efficient.
I'm a college player in the southern part of Connecticut. When I'm in school in the midwest, we work with Miles of Golf in Ann Arbor, MI to get fittings. I want to find a place where I can hit several driver shafts without having to pay $125 for a fitting. (College-Friendly fitting places) Any suggestions on locations? (Willing to drive into NYC / Hartford Areas)
It's that time again....March Madness, Conference Tournaments and The Big Dance, home to the top 64, err I mean 68 College Basketball Teams in the country. How's your team doing? Did you make it to the Dance? If you did, this is the place to post your rants. Show your Colors, Root for your Team or Blast the opponents. It all comes down to the first week of April at NRG Stadium, Houston, Texas for the Final Four with the National Champion crowned on April 2nd.
Go Big Blue! It's time for the Big Blue Nation to rise up and take charge.
