I'd love to give this one a shot.  I've had a Mizuno and a Callaway version of this monster.  Gotta believe Ping makes a better mousetrap.

Justin, Kansas

Currently playing at a 10.4 handicap.

I play a Titleist 913h 21* with an Aldila Tour Green stiff shaft.

I also play a Titleist T-MB 3 iron with S300 AMT shaft.

Both play about the same distance. However, each one has different playing characteristics. Hybrid is much higher launching and easier to hit a high fade when needed. The T-MB is great for keeping the ball down in the Kansas wind.

  • First name - Colin
  • Home state - Scotland, UK
  • Current handicap - 5.5 (CONGU)
  • Current long iron/hybrid, plus shaft and flex - I currently swap between a Nike Vr Pro II 2i with a KBS Tour Stiff and an original Adams Idea 18° with Accra HF M4. The 2i gets used when I play links golf and the Adams Hybrid when I play inland golf, as I have membership at 2 courses this means I'm constantly swapping over. The Crossover might be just the ticket to solve this problem for me.

I also have a set of Ping S55 4-W with KBS Tour Stiff at white dot which I've been playing for about a year.

Handicap: 12.8

Current Long iron/Hybrid: 4 iron TM Rocketbladez stock Stiff Steel. 3 hybrid TM SLDR-S Stiff stock (Fujikura Speeder 72)

I have been very interested in this club since I first saw it on MGS months ago because I have never really liked the profile or feel of hybrids but recognize the benefit in them. I also tee off with 4i/3h on a lot of holes and this could be my go to for that. I hope this is the happy mix of long iron and hybrid I've wanted.
