TESTERS ANNOUNCED! PING Crossovers

Recommended Posts

Jay Frederick · USL Jay8607 first name Jay from Louisiana...I'm an 11 handicap and my longest hybrid is a 3 iron hybrid Cobra S3's (I kept the 3 and 4 hybrid when I recently purchased my new Mizuno JPX850 irons GW thru 5 iron). The shaft is a stock Aldila 65 Regular Flex Mid Kick 3.5 degree. These two Cobra S3 hybrids are exceptional...it's going to take an exceptional Ping Crossover to beat these!

My name is Stewart.

I live in Colorado.

My current handicap is 18.

I play Warrior 3 & 4 hybrids (stock shafts, stiff flex) and Cobra Amp Cell irons (steel, stiff).

Reading this ad, I felt like the writer was talking directly to me. I struggle with my hybrids, and I can't hit a 4 iron any further than a 7 iron. This club intrigues me because it might be the answer I need to my long iron issues. It would be amazing to be chosen to test this great product. Thanks.

  • Current long iron/hybrid, plus shaft and flex -  I am presently using Adams 3 & $ hybrids a stiff shaft on the 4 and a regular shaft on the 3,  The shafts are Bassara 65x5ct

I can definitely hook the 4 at inopportune moments and would love the opportunity to try this new ping in a 4.

Would love to see if I could this without a hook.  Tried 6 hybrids and stuck with the 3 iron or the 5 wood.

I also carry a JPX Fli-Hi / XP105 R and no 5 iron.  Yes, I hook hybrids to *%^$ and I can't believe I'm carrying two.  I've played the Rapture DI 2 / TFC 949 S, but with my 90+ hybrid swing speed, I think I was just on the edge of usability.  Some amazing shots, but...  I always hoped that Ping would release a DI 3 & 4.  Although Ping claims the Crossover is not a driving iron, they do look very alike at address.  My first choice would be to try a Crossover 5 Alta S.

Hello, I would love to test your Crossover Irons. I presently do not play Hybrids but have hit them at Demo Days and while they jump and go the directional control is not precise enough to suit me.

First name: Alex

Home state: North Carolina

Current Handicap: 0.2

Long iron: ping S56 3iron with a KBS tour S

Also have a Bridgestone J40 2 hybrid with a Graphite design Tour AD DI-95x. I'd be very interested in trying the G crossover with that shaft because of the kick compared to the KBS

I've been experimenting with taking the 3 iron out and replacing it with a mizuno 21 degree with a KBS tour stiff I installed. The combination still is not quite there yet. I would be very interested in trying out the G Crossover in my set!
