new taylormade, pop up mark

i JUST bought it TODAY. and i hit a pop up ater 5 shots. now theres that pop up mark on the top. i never had the problem with my nike 5000, but my alignment sticks did scratch it pretty bad. anyway what can i do. if i just color over it i can still see that difference in height. How the real coat sits a bit higher than just ink or marker.

Did you sky a new driver? If you want to try it I would suggest maybe adding a lot of gloss black painnt to the crown. use a sheet of paper to level it out and keep it thin. Masking tape on the face would help aswell

Check out a refinishing service such as qualgolf.com ... will be a LOT cheaper to have the crown repainted.

We've all done it. Unfortunately, unless you're a master craftsman, any attempt to fix the mark yourself will probably look much worse than it already does. Check out the professional options but I'm guessing unless it comes back 100% perfect you may always look at it and be aware of what used to be there.
