Noob from Phoenix

Hello to all - long time viewer, first time poster.

 

I'm 34 and I've lived in Phoenix, by way of Chicago, for 14yrs. Played golf in high school and my college years, but left the game when priorities in life took over.

Recently got back into the game about 7 months ago after a 10yr hiatus and just looking to continually get better. I'm about a 15 handicap and I spend my time reading the forums and watching YouTube vids in hopes of breaking 80 one of these days!

Welcome from the Pacific Northwest!!  Glad you joined us Larry.  Where do you play in Phoenix? I get down there once in awhile; I have a 2 week trip scheduled for early February 2017.  I've played a lot of courses in the Phoenix area, and I'm a little miffed that my favorite course Vistal GC (formally the Thunderbird course) on South Mountain closed; houses going in.  I need to find a nice relatively inexpensive course on my next visit.
