I drive it well (straight, not particularly long), and have a solid short game which makes me fairly consistent. However, my irons are without a doubt the weakest part of my game. I tend to hit it low without much spin, and hit very few greens. I believe my problem is not hitting down on the ball as much as I should because my hands are not ahead of the ball at impact, and think the DST Compressor might be just the training aid I need to overcome that problem. I play at least once a week and practice on the range several times a week, but my iron play does not seem to improve. Putting that time on the range to use with this aid could make a huge difference

I've been eye balling these crooked sticks for some time but have yet to pull the trigger. I tend to cast and hit the ball fat on my misses. I'd love to test these bad mutha truckers to help with my ball striking.

1. Your name and home state/province

2. Your current handicap

3. How you think the DST Compressor Set can help your ball striking

1. Adam Zeen : Huntington Beach, California

2. Just started golfing these past two months and do not know my handicap yet.

3. Since I just started golfing and taking some lessons I think the DST Compressor Set can greatly help my ball striking and overall performance. I've signed up for unlimited range balls, got lessons, and am rapidly learning but my biggest flaw so far is not keeping my hands forward along with too much hand and club plane degrees. I've completely fallen in love with the game, I just need all the help I can get! I'd be a great reviewer and a true candidate to see how these clubs could help someone who has just gotten into the game improve their ball striking.

I struggle from time to time casting and it sometimes takes me several holes (sometimes several rounds) to work my way out of it. I think a club that won't allow you to do this and forces you to have proper body mechanics will promote a more consistent swing and improve ball striking overall. Besides if Jason Day, Sergio Garcia, Justin Rose, and Henrik Stenson arguably some of the greatest ball strikers on tour presently use it then I'd be an idiot as an amateur mid handicapper not to give it a try.

1. Mike Billings Ontario, Canada

2. Handicap is 14.

3. My game suffers from inconsistent contact, and distances with my irons. I can hit a 9 iron and limp onto the front edge for example, yet have the same shot a couple holes later, and fly the green! All due to one shot being correctly struck, and the other other having been due to flipping the hands.

Obviously, having a tool that provides focused practice is going to be beneficial to the recreational player. Especially one who doesn't have the luxury of private instruction, or the time to hit 500 balls a day for years. I would appreciate the opportunity to improve my game, and I think DST products would go a long way in doing that.

Thanks for the opportunity, and offering your products to the members!

flipping my hands at the ball at impact is leading to inconsistent flight and distance control.  learning to control the face through impact will help get me some shorter birdie putts.

handicap: 6.7 index

I struggle casting and doing a lot of weird stuff with my hands to stave off the pull hook. Sometimes it takes several holes and on occasion several rounds before I can work myself out of the bad shots. I think if this club forces you to use proper body mechanics in order to hit a decent shot, it will eventually help build a consistent swing and improve ball striking. If Jason Day, Sergio Garcia, Henrik Stenson, and Justin Rose (arguably some of the best ball strikers on tour presently) use it to practice, then surely it can help my game.
