KingSinghUNLTD 1
Which Callaway offerings are comparable to Ping G LS Tec in both spin and forgiveness? (There are lots of TM M series and Cobra King fans but in this thread please compare only old and new Callaway offerings. Thanks.) chershey 601
I've done a lot of testing and comparison between different heads and I think if you are comparing spin and forgiveness, I would go for the XR16 Pro. I think the XR16 sub zero is close as wel,l but is a little less forgiving and lower spinning than the Pro. The 816 DBD is another option that would go in this arena but, while it gives great spin numbers, it's not nearly as forgiving as the XR16 Pro in my testing. I would definitely try as many as you can, if you can test, but my vote goes to the XR16 Pro if you don't have the opportunity to test. I have tried and crossed off the Cobra & TMag offerings. Glad to hear the XR16 Pro has good level of forgiveness. Kor.A.Door 5,843
It's a previous model, but the X2hot pro is better than the xr16 pro in my opinion, I never cared for any of the ping G offerings. I do really like the 816 DBD as well. It really all has to do with the shaft combo for each one. 1 Quote Lefties are always in their Right Mind

I think you can pick one up for around 100 bucks, or very close to it, the Aldila tour green shaft is a very good shaft for stock. KingSinghUNLTD 1
Quite surprised with the Most Wanted Rankings. Goes to show the importance of testing as many as possible with an open mind. I was most surprised by the forgiveness # of Cally DBD. I would never have thought it would beat the Ping G series in forgiveness. May need to give it a try (buying it may not be in the cards due to $$$).
