I will say I'm considering switching out the 3h for something else, since I hit the 4h so dang well that I can't top it by much with the 3h. Thinking about a 5W - something that goes a little shorter than the 3W but spins a little more so it's easier to elevate off the deck and sticks a green on a par 5. Trouble is I've never been able to hit a hybrid with quite that low a loft. Heading over to the shop a little later this week though, hopefully I can hit a few options like that and get an idea. I'm kinda considering trying out something like the most recent Adams Tight Lies 5W. They've got some of the extra MOI of a fairway wood, but yet are still very purpose built for hitting off the turf. I about died the other weekend when I dropped it putting it back in my bag and got a little scratch on the neck joint But luckily it's quite a small mark and not visible at address! As for your questions. Yes I do use iron covers. I hate getting bag chatter on irons, and especially since I got these custom, I'm doing my best to protect them! And on the different brands, nah I don't really care. I don't think I've ever had my bag match like that before. Don't get me wrong, I could probably find a setup that worked within each company, but I try to pick the one that works best and not think about brand. Fits my gap much better and is a better tee club, plus it elevates easier off the deck so long as the lie is decent. Will post an updated photo a little later today! It's a little more draw biased than I'd maybe like, but I think as long as I keep my tempo smooth it should work out. It's the same loft as the hybrid was, but the higher MOI and a little extra shaft length means it goes a little further than the hybrid did. I won't lie, there is a modicum of demand there with the profile and you do have to make a semi decent swing to get results, but they are also a lot more forgiving than their size would indicate. The Steelfibers gave me a few mph more ball speed across the board than steel when I was fit, and I'm continuing to see that now. Should help me with forgiveness off a tee and maybe avoid some of those quick hooks I like to hit with my BB 3W at times. Probably won't hit it off the deck, and just relegate that role to the XR16 19* which is a monster off the deck.
