Used to be when I lived up north. Fully intended to join one down here in Jacksonville, then found out about the TPC Sawgrass membership. Methinks its the best deal in golf. Pete Dye home course, access to the Stadium, world class practice facilities. No initiation, dues less than half of local private clubs, no minimums, regular member events. Just have to deal with the tourists and lots of events. Not been much of a problem.

Nonchalant putts count the same as chalant putts.

What's the normal pace of play Foz? It's been fine the 2 times I've played there but once was summer and the other a rainy day.

We play on Saturday mornings at 8:00 with a Shotgun, starting at #1 going back to #13 with two foursomes on each Tee. Usually we all finish pretty close to the same time......usually 4 to 4 1/2 hours. A few times the club has shot gunned a second tournament, then it may grind to a crawl if they have over 80 golfers.
