Master grip "MG" balls?

Recommended Posts

Curious...

One of my golf buddies found a ball that had "MG" on it, none of us had a clue what it was but it felt as if it were rather high quality???? anyways he played it for a bit, and then we found out it was mastergrip and before I know it he has 4 dozen in his garage, he gave me a few to give it a whirl and honestly they are solid, I read a few sites where they claimed to be the cheap pro v1 but after playing nine rotating that ball in I was pretty impressed and actually liked it a lot.

Have any of you guys, heard of the this company? gamed these balls? or know anything about what I just said lol

Thanks

I checked the site out and decided I am going to throw these balls in the garbage. It looks like the local third grade runs the site lol. Not to mention the sunglasses killed me, I think i am going to fork over the 20 bones to get these to read some greens and slay the ladies.

So as I was beating around the course yesterday I thought it would be cute to try and cut the corner at a shorter par four well it got a little wild and I was looking for my ball, I kicked around in the tall stuff and found a MG ball, I honestly thought 4 people in the world play it, but apparently there is someone in the central ohio area playing the ball lol, and they are putting it everywhere they cant find it because my group finds one everywhere lol

Hate to ruin everyone's good time, but they are actually quality balls.

I found one early in the year, ordered a couple dozen for myself and a dozen each for a couple buddies (both "good ball" players). We played them for a week in Mesquite and after, and we're going to order more soon. Very very close in feel to a pro-v as they advertise.

I was skeptical as well, but they're good in thier own right, they are VERY good for the money.

Darn it, I like the sun glasses. The price 19.95 a dozen, I pay the same for SRIXON Softfeels, don't know if I could justify using them over them or Gamer Vs, or Noddle Long and Softs at 14.95.

Hi Guys, I understand they are similar to the Hogan Apex Tour's as they

look like they have come from that tooling with the 6 deeper dimples

from the injection pin extraction points. Cheers, B

on another forum that I hang out in, quite a few of the guys are hooked on the MG gloves. They are supposed to be pretty good quality and a great price too since they are all buy one get one free. I would like to try them but I have weird shaped hands and have a hard time finding gloves that fit me.

Nothing helps you find a lost ball better than a provisional hit straight down the middle.

Their gloves are of decent quality for the BoGo offer. As for the balls, well let's just say I won't be replacing the Pro V's in the bag any time soon, at least not with theirs. They're significantly shorter for me.

In The Bag

LW: 60* Scratch Tour Department (CC grooves) w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner
XW: 64* Cally XForged Vintage w/ DG X100 8 iron tiger stepped
Putter: Nike Method Prototype 006 at 34"

Have a ton of back-ups in all categories, but there are always 14 clubs in the bag that differ depending on the course and set-up. Bomb and gouge. Yes, I'm a club gigolo.

I don't see myself using the MG balls anytime soon. For me I just can't see any better deal than $22 a dozen for used Pro V1s for lostgolfballs.com
