McaseyM
also, get involved in the forum discussions and reviews. I was posting off and on for 6+ months before I was chosen for a review. They will choose newbies, but when there's new equipment, like Hogan clubs, they'll get 500+ applications. Keep posting, applying and stay involved. chemclub
I would say, and this is just my two cents, that joining the forum because you want to talk and learn more about golf is a better use of your time than joining because you want to demo the latest equipment. The reasons... 1) There are a lot of members and a lot of great contributors. The chances of being selected are very low. Assume you won't get picked. So logging on just to enter the latest Member Review Opportunity is time better spent on something else productive. 2) Sure you get the clubs for free, but the review takes a lot of time, thought and effort to do well. Maybe if you are retired and live at the course then the time commitment isn't a huge issue, but if you have a job and a family and you take it seriously, it isn't a small affair. You owe the community your best effort. In short, the equipment isn't free.
