Trying to get data and input on high MOI putters to determine if I should invest.  Read where higher MOI is much better for off-center hits, but curious about trade-off with getting the ball on the intended line with the right pace.

Also, has anyone heard of Cure putters?

I owned a Cure putter for 18 holes. Not the putters fault at all, couldn’t miss with it at the store but I really struggled with the size on the course. I think I’m just used to a smaller profile.

Heard of cure and tested them as part of most wanted.   What do you want to know about MOI putters?  High MOI putters are generally slower to rotate (think figure skater with arms out vs arms in) and will resist twisting when the ball hits off center.  There is no trade off getting the ball on intended line or pace.   Intended line is a combination of face angle at impact and the putters path; the face angle at impact having the largest impact.  Pace is about stroke length, tempo, and where on the face you contact the ball.

I was at an event with them a few years back. Back when the CX1/CX1 came out. Also around the same time Lexi was playing with them. I had one in my bag for about a season. Overall it performed well, but my constant need to tinker eventually replaced it with a variety of other putters. Feel was good and I never had any trouble getting it on it's intended line. Decent putters and you could probably find one for relatively cheap. The ability to change the weight of the head was also nice.

Funny thing....I was cleaning the kitchen today and doing dishes and was actually thinking about how it’d be nice to have a larger sink haha. But that would cut into my golf $$ so I quickly brushed their thought away

And the nice thing is that list is long but I’d (most likely) not buy both putters and both fairway woods

I have a bagboy t10. I found one for $99 and I also have the club glove. I’ve used it to go from pa to fla and pa to Texas and had no issues either time. Would also highly recommend shipsticks too

I was going to do a fitting today, but I decided not to since CC in NOLA doesn’t have the new Mizuno JPX 919 Hot Metal Pro irons. No big rush, especially since the big Edwin Watts Shreveport demo day is the 6th. I enjoy that demo day as everyone is usually there, and I get to hit outside on a range. Praying it doesn’t rain again this year and cancel it.

Well, the leader in the clubhouse right now are the Mizuno JPX 919 Forged!Straighter ball flight, more spin, more accurate than my i210s, and the feel was certainly better! I’ll go through a thorough fitting in San Antonio next week, and then I’ll make a determination. These will be hard to beat... (and I can get them for $1900 less than PXGs!)

We’ll see! I tested Gen 1, so no idea about Gen2, and I’ve talked to 3 people that had Gen1: 2 sold theirs, and the third said he’d go back to Titleist or Mizuno.

Gen2 imo outperform gen1 in dispersion and feel.  Gen2 also are a little longer than gen1 for those looking at distance in irons. For me getting a better feel and dispersion was an easy decision to go Gen2 and as big of a fan of titleist, Mizuno and the i210s I have no problem staying with Gen2 other than when the want for new and shiny shows up

I believe what you say! The performance of Gen1 was enlightening, and the 2s are better by everyone I’ve spoken to. The issue is always price... I can’t do $400 a club. $2800 for a set is just something I can’t do. $200??? I would do it, but that’s not going to be possible.

Considering splurging a bit and picking up a Ping Hoofer bag as well as some Puma Ignite PWRADAPT shoes. I've had my current bag and shoes for a few years now and I think it's time for an upgrade. Anyone have anything bad to say about the Ping Hoofer?

... I bought some Ecco's several years ago and as comfortable as they were in the store, they gave my heel blisters. I need a padded heel athletic type shoe. Thankfully Ecco is finally offering one! So I am picking up a pair of BIOM Hybrid GTX 3's today. Been walking a ton here in Phoenix so comfortable and supportive golf shoes are a must.

... Bummer, my heel slipped using different socks trying them on today.
