Absolutely. Mizuno had something with the 180. Looks like they improved the feel and forgiveness of the 190. Wouldn't be surprised to see it finish with a medal in the MGS most wanted testing

Just grabbed some spikeless Adidas s boost for 65 dollars on Amazon. I needed some shoes. Mine are ancient and incredibly heavy. 

Now I just need a new stand bag. I have my eye on a Ping hoofer 14...just not sure I wanna pull the trigger yet.

Found out last night I can get a deal on an F9... Ball speeds were over 170 with this, but I saw some "lefts" creep in, so not sure I take advantage of the hook-up. I really want to try the PXG 0811 X Gen2 again with the Graphite Design VR-6X shaft. I gained 10 yards on my G400 Max, but I need to see if the "lefts" creep in with that one as well. In the first fitting they didn't, but I really want to try it again to get the numbers in my head.

Got a little bit of info on the new Veylix shaft coming-out this year, called the Mansion. IT. LOOKS. SICK. Hoping to get a chance to demo it and see what it does!

Put a lot of thought into it, bought a few, but they will look real nice on the wall. Pretty close though.

Ok, teaser 1. I am getting blades at least to 6 iron. A few science experiments should decide the rest. Been reading a lot on MOI matches sets. You can get real deep in the weeds quickly. That’s one of the things that makes the most sense to me.

Long story short, I’m probably going to mess a set up trying to figure it out.

As long as you have fun trying new things and aren't afraid of potentially poor results then go for it. Tinkering is what makes golf so fun for a lot of people!

Never had the desire to “mess them up” but the heads are going to stay mostly unaltered, just the shafts and some weighting. Definitely will be a thread on that when I get going.

Thinkin' of a few things...

Maybe look into a push cart later on this season. I think the health benefits of walking would do me a lot of good.

Still want to upgrade my G 3w just cuz...

Gonna start checking out these cross-over clubs to see if there is anything that I can hit better than my current 4i and fill that gap to the 5w a bit better.

Upgrading my iron set is ALWAYS on my mind...If MSG offers testing on the G410, I'll be in the running there fer sure, but I get the sinking feeling that I'd never be chosen due to my self-made bias with PING equipment. Maybe it's time to open up..? Why not...

Well.. went into golf galaxy this evening since they have the Hot Metal Pros. I hit those, Ping g410, cobra F9 one length, and just to try them the rogue irons. Man do some of those feel good. Was surprised how much better the F9 one lengths feel and perform compared to my f7s.

Now to find somewhere I can do real fittings with all to see what performs the most consistent with best numbers.

Putters, Putters, Putters.   Still trying to find a new flatstick.   Had pretty much decided on an Evnroll 8.3 but found the Spider X at MGS headquarters and have been rolling it pretty well.  Wish there was an 8.3 in most wanted so I could compare them side by side.   Also on the list is the new Odyssey #3.  Leaning toward a mallet so the #3 is on the bottom of the list.

Finally decided on a Ping hoofer bag, picked out the color scheme and all so that I could have a carry bag that can actually stand on it's own without falling over if someone breaths on it. 

But then I realized I could get a 3 wood for the same price...now I don't know what to do....

After my driver fitting was done yesterday, I asked the fitter what I need to fill the slot below driver. We talked a bit about what I have, what I’m looking for, and how I’d use a 3w.

 

Well. Um, I hit the TS3 15* fairway with the Diamana S+ 80TX. Yeahhhhhh. I shouldn’t have. EXACTLY what I need for that gap. Sheesh. Maybe I’ll get lucky and see that the strong 5w I have will for the Bill. We’ll see.

 

TS3.... Ugh. I really like that club!

I am looking to get a G410 crossover - I want the 2 iron at 40" bent one degree weak to 18* with an Even Flow Blue at D3. The up charge on the Even Flow Blue is only $24 or there abouts so it's not bad at all. I'm really excited - it's everything I wanted the G400 to be :)
