I ran by Dicks today and hit a few shots in the bay with with the regular and max TA Atomic Irons.   I was impressed to say the least as they felt solid.   Forged head and wider bounce makes these fun clubs to hit.   The regular are longer than my recently picked up Cobra F- Max irons by a several yards and the Max are freaking cannons!    Yea I left DSG today thinking about these puppies.   Don't overlook these irons just because they are not famous as the big boys.

Cobra F9 Driver is very nice, easily adjustable. Unfortunately is is same length as current Ping G driver. Not ready for a $500 expenditure for same performance.

I just traded off my g410+ driver for an epic flash sub zero. I hit a buddies flash sz and was easily 10 yards longer and straighter. I attempted to buy his but he was having none of that.

Have a LH Ping G410 Driver to Demo tomorrow. Let’s see how this performs, better than the G, we’ll see.

I went from the G30 to the G400 to the G410 and saw improvements each time. Not necessarily related to distance, but more dispersion. I think you'll like it!

Not surprised you got better results. I am constantly amazed at just how long and forgiving the Epic Flash is. Enjoy the club!

Demo the G410 this morning. A nice club but once again not significant improvement over the G. Talked to the Guys at the Golf Shop and no surprise to them. They felt it takes a lot to surpass the G30 & G drivers. I’m going to stay with my G for another year.

It’s always fun to see how different clubs perform for others. I saw a huge improvement over the g30 with my g400. But it sounds like the G is working well for you!

I had awesome dispersion with the G30 SFT however distance was lacking. As a slower swinger I erred on the side of more distance vs. straighter.

In hindsight that was not the best decision.

Maybe I’m just used to the G but nothing seems to be jumping out. I thought the G410 would be the winner.
One of the guys in our group didn’t care for the G410 he Demo and loved the Cally Epic and he kills it! He bought Driver & 3 wood.

I would have pulled the trigger on a set of Mizuno MP-62 irons on Ebay today, but I decided I was not at the point of "forgiving blades" quite yet as I just got back into the game after a decade away. Although the set sold cheap, I had just won a set of JPX-825 5-pw irons an hour earlier and even I would have a hard time explaining that to SWMBO. I only paid $88 shipped so I feel like I got a deal.

FWIW, I learned on blades in the early '90s.  Perhaps in the not too distant future I will get to hit a set of player's clubs and gauge if they could help my scores.

I’m the same way. I’m a slower swing speed so I always go for distance too. Because 240 yards dead right is still better than 200 straight on the fairway 🤣

I've hit a number of the new drivers, and have found a good fit with the 410 and F9. Neither is a big advantage over my now "near vintage" Wishon, at least on good strikes, but both offer some greater forgiveness. For either one I want a 44.5" length (I'm short!). I recently found out Cobra offers the F9 in a "Tour Length", namely 1" short, or, you guessed it, 44.5"! It comes with heavier weights, 18 and 6 grams, vs, 14 and 2, than standard. If I knew for sure what shaft, I would have already ordered, but my fitter does not have a test head with these weights. He's sent his Cobra rep a message, but now two weeks on has not heard back.

That's interesting as I didn't know the F9 came in a shorter length

Bad news. I putted pretty well with it and will likely have to get me one lol.
Maybe a few more test rounds before deciding, but it'll probably happen

I have the 54 and 60 2019 PM grind wedges.  Like them a lot.  They replaced my SCORs 54 and 58.

I’m slowly getting closer to adding 60* to the bag. Debating on whether I should go with the PM or the MD4.
I got $40 credit/rewards at Dicks/GG that I need to burn so might make the final decision soon!

The biggest thing keeping me from a single digit cap is my short game. I know it's me and not my clubs. But I'm intrigued by the potential forgiveness offered by the Cleveland RTX-3 CB wedges. This is a great price and I have a birthday coming up.

Talk me into it or out of it.
