Florida is one big sand trap with some of it covered in Bermuda grass.
For me it was a really good putter but that freakin sand....
I belt I could have used it without a problem in New England.

Yea we don't have much sand around here unless you're in a green side trap.  Never tried to putt out of a trap before so it would most likely work here.

trying to find a decent set of 7-P irons for my 80 year old father-in-law.  He needs a light/senior shaft.  I don't want to pay much for them and am fine with some used ones.
I wonder how he'd feel playing a set of ladies clubs?  They've got to have similar properties I would think.
Dick's has the TA1s for 200 w/Sr shafts....

You have to order from a dealer that sells the clubs individually.

It's not the most economical way to go, but you can get exactly what you want.

You'll probably want 7-GW, 5-clubs, with A-Flex graphite shafts, appropriate grips, and larger GI heads.

A super wood for seniors, by the way, is the Top Flite Intimidator 400, #s 5, 7, 9, senior flex Fenwick shafts. 

Probably available very cheap on e-bay, and I don't know of anything new that's a better senior's wood.

Melds perfectly with a 7-GW set.

What about the Acer XDS hybrid irons? Similar design and concept as Wilson LaunchPads or Cleveland Launcher HBs. Heads are $25 each from Value Golf. Just need a set of .370 shafts to throw in them and grips. Golfworks has several sub-$20 graphite shafts, Value Golf has a few, too.

I am thinking about some cavity back wedges, specifically the Cleveland CBX 2. Currently have Vokey's which work well for me in the short game, but I always find a way to hit thin full shots.

I had an incident with my bag and a couple wedges were damaged I had some used almost new Cleveland RTX 4 wedges that I got and reshafted I only had 52, 56. So I put them in the bag. These are super smooth to play so now what I want to buy the 3rd wedge. My gaps are such that I need a 50 and bend it to 49. The also need to bend the the others to 53, and 57. I wasn’t sure I would like the RTX-4 but they are good.

I'm in the market for a new bag, I bought mine a few years ago from a Play it Again Sports store when I bought the irons that brought me back to the game. I paid $30 for it and am now looking to replace it. I was on Twitter the other day and saw a post from @GolfSpy Stroker talking about the Sun Mountain C130. After that and a glowing recommendation from @THEZIPR23, I'm leaning that way.

They look really nice and I think they mentioned they will be preferable in May. They go cleanly with Maltby's TS1 irons. I have really enjoyed the Tour Grind MG.
