KBS $ - taper lite.  Went with black for something different.  Centre of face contact was much better than any other shaft, even on poor swings.  The shaft seemed to help me feel where the club head was throughout the swing.  Looking forward to get the new irons.

Really itching for a new putter. Plan on trying out a few next week. 
 

The Odyssey Stroke Lab line has really peaked my interest. Love some of the Toulon options, but not sure I can spend that kind of money right now. Might check out the 2 Ball Fang model.

Going for another iron fitting in July. For those of you that read my posts in other threads, I had a fitting in May 2019. The irons that came out on top were the D7's, I didn't buy them because my wife's new irons came first. Recently, I've been going back and forth with my fitter. He though the 919HM would be a good fit, but just found out they are sold out. However, he thought the T300 would also be a good fit along with the Cobra SeedZone. It'll be an interesting fitting.

Thinking of going to a bit more friendly setup with replacing 50* Cleveland RTX-3 wedge with Srixon Z565 set 50* gap wedge and for certain occasions (wet weather with muddy fairways) use Titleist 818 H1 21* hybrid set at 22* or 23* instead of 4 iron and Titleist 818 H1 19* hybrid instead of 3 iron to get some additional carry instead of roll out.

I also tested Tensei White 90g hybrid shaft in hybrid and I quite like slightly heavier combo. 

Any thoughts about this setup?

As long as the clubs allow you to hit your desired distances and you are effective with those clubs it sounds great.

Looking for a major shaft upgrade and testing out a Tensei CK Orange Pro right now. It's SO easy to hit in my Ping G410 LST. I can take EASY swings and it's straight as an arrow and 250. I also am looking to upgrade my wedges back into the vokey family that I used to play.

Seems to be a good combo with the g410 line and the TPO.

I’m really enjoying the SM7s I just got at a great price when then SM8s were released. It’s hard to beat a Vokey in the right grind.

I just got the 818 H2 hybrid with Tensei white 90 X stiff.  Felt really boardy and stiff to me personally and launch wasn't as high as I would like.  Switching to a Tensei blue shaft instead as I've liked it in the past for a little more feel and higher launch.

For reference my driver SS is around 115.

I got fitted locally in Philly by Izett in 2016. I'm playing more this year and plan to keep it up in the next few years as my oldest heads to college and my youngest gets to high school. So instead of pondering new clubs (which I've done a TON of trading so far this year), I'm going to spend some $ at Club Champion and get fully fitted again. They have a deal going if you spend $500 on merchandise then your $350 full bag fitting is free. I can get new wedges now, or a new putter and a wedge or two and get the fitting for free. So stay tuned on what I'm ultimately considering getting.

And yes, I know CC has HIGH prices, I won't buy my whole bag there, but even if the $500 I spend would "normally" be $350, it's still $700 of value (clubs + fitting) for only $500. Good deal to me!

Back on the graphite shaft thought train.  During most wanted testing I have been grabbing clubs with graphite shafts to warm up and today I grabbed a PXG with Mitsubishi MMT shaft.  I have to say that that shaft made the PXG feel amazing.  Haven't been a big fan of the PXG clubs during testing; granted I wasn't fit for them,  but that Mitsubishi shaft!!!  My swing felt soooooo  good.  

Also has me thinking if the lighter weight might be a benefit instead of the 120gr I currently play.   Will probably start a used club search for something with an 80-90 gram graphite shaft.

I’m on this wagon right now as well. I’m on eBay like a hawk rifgt now. Have some TS2 3 woods in my site as well as some sims (just to see if I like it). Also driver shafts....so many choices
