ClarkWGriswoldIII
My bag is pretty well set now with the new putter and wedges. My driver, a Callaway GBB Epic is the oldest club in the bag. I'd like a new driver and can't help myself from looking, but my fitting over the summer told me that I hit the Epic as well as anything else I tried. silver & black
Before the virus thing, I was seriously looking at the Mizuno MP 18 SC irons. Chisag kind of steared me toward the MMC instead, believing they would serve me better. I agreed...lol. Then the Mp 20's came out and I was pie eyed...lol. I hit the MMC's and loved them. I just couldn't justify spending that kind of money while being out of work, so I didn't pull the trigger. Now the Mizuno Pro 223 is out and I can't wait to hit them. I'm still not working at my real job, but I am working, so.... I might just pull the trigger this year. Who knows, I may very well get the MP 20 MMC's at a bargain instead................................ or I might get cold feet and continue on with my MP 64's. sirchunksalot

tony@CIC
I bought a King F9 5 wood last year at PGASS new marked down to $49, It said demo but it looked brand new, It has a Helium light flex shaft on it. Dialed down to 17* I'm getting the same distance out of it as my ping 410 22* hybrid with a Tensi Blue CK 70 gr R flex. With a nice balance in my paypal account, I decided to get a new shaft for the 5 wood, more than likely a Tensi since I have a good experience with it. At the original $49, plus the cost of a new shaft, I still better off than getting a new 5 wood. fozcycle, sirchunksalot and Grand Stranded 3 Quote Left Hand orientation SIM 2 D Max with Fujikura Air Speeder Shaft Cobra Radspeed 3W/RIptide Shaft 410 Hybrids 22*, 26* Cobra Speed Zone 6-GP/Recoil ESX 460 F3 Shafts SM7 54* Wedge Glide 3.0 60* Wedge O Works putter V3 NX9-HD - 4 Wheel EZGO TXT 48v cart - too many shoes to list and so many to buy And BAG Boy Golf Balls: Vice Pro Plus 2020 Official Tester Beginning Driver Speed - 78 2019 Official Tester 410 Driver 2018 Official Tester C300

Shapotomous
So I am only slightly thinking about wedges. I use Cleveland Tour Action 588's from waaay back and have used a grinder to get some personal heel relief along with a 2* flat bend. They are 49*, 53* & 57*. The 49 & 53 may be a little strong by about 1* as my flattening bending action may have been a little crooked. As I begin my winter time browsing, does anyone have any suggestions on a similar style blade that has some built in heel relief do I don't have to grind away on new $$$ wedges? Popular Post cnosil
I guess new driver is now on the think about list. Completed all my driver sessions for most wanted and then hit some balls with my gamer. Ball striking is really off but I think I got some good information. Current driver swing speed was in the 105ish range with ball speeds in the 148-150 range. This is was I was seeing with the majority of the drivers that I was testing. Picked up one of the Callaway drivers and swing speed was up a couple of MPH and ball speed was in the 155-158 range. Next step is 1. working on ball striking with driver 2. picking out a new driver 3. getting back to swing speed training; haven't done it in a while and have lost quite a few MPH of speed. Exactly what I want, although I rarely hit either off the tee. I will determine which club to use off the fairway based on the lie. The 2H is much more reliable, but if the lie is flat or slightly uphill, I'll pull the 4W. Many uneven lies in our fairways, so it doesn't get a lot of use. My MP-20 did not fare well in the desert where the ground is hard and often a little rocky, especially just beneath the surface. While my Vokeys got nicked up a little my Mizuno was gouged, dented and scratched up very quickly. Not a problem back in the soft midwest conditions but here in Phoenix they are No Bueno.
