Might be worth reaching out to Cobra customer service and explain what happened. Worst they can say is that they can't help you, but they've generally been awesome about defects/replacements. You obviously don't know the history of the club so who knows what happened before you... but things do happen.

I have the eyeline circles too. I rarely use the larger one as I prefer to use a towel to check my landing point on chips/pitches.

ya i only got the 3ft one. go straight to the challenge of great success and anything within 3ft of it i would be happy with.

I wasn't sure if the mirror, sword, and circles were three different things or all part of one package so I didn't know if you were on board with everything he'd said.  But thanks for the mirror suggestion, I've now got one incoming.

I have not used it even looked at the sword. I was only replying to the mirror comment.

The circles are great for practice. As mentioned I don’t really use the 6’ circle. I got it for chipping practice but I prefer to work more on hitting a landing spot and use a towel for that. Example if I eat to play a bump and run I place the towel closer to me and try to hit it with the club I would use for whatever distance to the hole. Longer distance longer club, less distance wedge or 9i

The 3’ circle is what I use for putting practice. I place it around the hole and then place balls 5 balls in a line in ; different spots around the hole. 3,9,15,20,24’ or some other lengths depending on what I feel like that day. The goal is to make or have at least 10 balls finish inside the circle

I know I would probably get murdered if another iron set showed up at my door but I’m really digging the looks of the Takomo 101T irons. $480 shipped to me for heads only seems like a steal. But then I think to myself that Edel’s Swing Match System Irons seem like a cool ideal. Doing a fitting to have the weights matchup to my swing intrigues me a lot.

Didn't know anything about it. Just checked on Google Maps and it's 1 hour 23 minutes so about the same as the others. Definitely heading there next time to give it a go, thanks for the suggestion!

Thinking about picking up a mallet putter with some birthday funds from the family. I like the feel of Odyssey’s white hot insert in my current blade putter, so I’m tempted to try their armlock two-ball ten mallet (currently on sale at PGA superstore). The other option would be a factory second L.A.B. DF 2.1.

Or I’ll just it towards something else entirely that I don’t need. Decisions, decisions….

Thinking about graphite wedge shafts.  @McGolfthinks it might be a good option based on my iron shaft weight and my swing.

... I would make the argument graphite shafts should be in every wedge. They take the most pounding as even pickers can take a pivot with a wedge for pitches and chips. When I had my elbow tendonitis flare up I was a little surprised hitting a bunker shot caused a lot of pain. If it is just a performance issue steel isn't a problem but if you are thinking of reducing the vibration to your joints I would definitely install graphite in my wedges. Fwiw, I had heavier graphite in my wedges for a long time but my last set I went with the same i95's I have in my irons and they work great. Ymmv ...

not against that thought at all and I love granite shafts.  I was at the mygolfspy outing this past weekend and a few of us did a Titleist fittings and I did a wedge fitting.  Hen I got back to the house, @McGolfasked about my fitting since he does club fitting for a living and asked what shafts the fitter recommended.  When I said the stock steel shafts he suggest I look at look at some thing lighter and more inline with my iron shafts; which are 85 gram graphite.   His thought was that the 35 gram difference was to big and might be beneficial.   I’d try and get the same graphites that were in my irons but they are the stock Honma Vizard shafts and I don’t think you can buy them direct.  Jim say me play for 4ish hours so he had a pretty good idea about how I swing the club and suggested Accra wedge shafts.   Just want to confirm the ones I listed where what we were talking about; I have a couple of new vokey wedges begging for a new shaft

I was always a steel shaft guy until my elbow & shoulder hurt too much.  Switched to graphite and helped immensely.  Shorty after that also made the switch in my wedges.  I still had to have shoulder surgery and will need elbow surgery sometime but I can play without major pain.

... Hi Randy! I too have a weakness for driver shafts. AD-MT is performing very well in my Sim2 and the LinQ White equally well in my LTDx and the Tensei AV Blue tested best at my last fitting. To be fair so did the AD-IZ so I finally bought one.  The chances of it performing demonstrably better than what I am playing is slim to none. Maybe a tiny bit better so that is the hope.

I was at my local golf shop, laying my deposit down for the Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Limited Jet Set... and spied shiny metal in the "used" rack.  Mizuno MP-4 3-PW in excellent condition... less than $300.  The only thing that caused me pause was the Project X 6.0 shafts in them... that is a LOT of shaft for me, but DAMN those things were beautiful.  I can't believe I walked out of the store without them... but I may not be able to make it through the day without going back...

I have Hi-Toes now! Might be the play then to just get the high bounce 58 since I like my other two.

I am thinking of getting a new shaft for my U-510 DI. I love the club in my bag, but I think I am missing some consistency.  

I bought it used with a stock HZDUS Black 6.0, but I find it’s not as consistent as a GD I tried with the Titleist Rep earlier this year.

Also I play mostly Mitsubishi Tensei’s on my Driver, 3 FW and Hybrid, so I think I need to go get fit for a new shaft.  All this talk about Ventus TR shafts makes me think I need to try that too.  

I am a sucker for marketing.
