I don’t think you can ask this group if you need a new wedge, the answer will be yes.😁
actually you may not reading your description.

Yes and no. It could be the grooves are worn out and you need fresh grooves.

It could be your technique which is the first place I would look. If your lob wedge is rolling out a lot I’ll put my money on technique, also based on your profile I would lean that way too.

It could be a combo of both making worn grooves and the effect worse

Not thinking about them because I have them but...

If you need wedges, DO NOT overlook the Mizuno T-22. Even Vosh thinks they're the best wedges they've made.

Example, I can't hit out of bunkers so I got a Cleveland Smart Sole S. That's gone and I'll be using my T-22 56° from now on. It's as easy to hit our of bunkers as the S.

If you do, you will quickly understand why golf ball enhancements over the last 20 years are so incredible (assuming you have never played balata before).  Titleist Tour Balata 90's and the Bridgestone Rextars used to be my "buy them by the case" gamers.. I had to buy in quantity, because they went out of round after about 3 or 4 holes in normal play... let alone an occasional "bladed" smiley face.  Soft, spinny, short, fun... and it will give you a true appreciation for every ball on the market today :).

Rogue ST lineup now on CPO, FYI

I am a weak weak man.  I pushed the button and bought myself a set of these suckers.  They should arrive Wed/Thursday.  When I went to the fitting a month or so ago this setup got me 30 yards on my 7 iron.  I think it's the shafts.  Same head with different shafts got less launch and more dispersion.

I also have to go with yes and no.  If they are forged, then they will certainly be more worn.  Unless you have good technique and play wedge shots to check up, there is noting wrong with playing wedge shots that roll out a lot.  In fact, I consider the roll out to be more predictable.  When you have new sharp grooves, sometimes you pick the ball perfectly and it checks up when you don't expect it; other times when slightly mishit or incorrect technique, the ball will roll out.  The result is longer putts.  Happened to me a lot when I got my new wedges in 2019.  I use my LW a lot around the green and I could probably replace it, but I can control distance with the ball I'm using, swing effort, trajectory and a predictable roll out.  I don't need to spin the ball.

We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

AS detailed in the TSR unofficial review thread, I didn't have a great fitting experience, but I did reset up my appointment with my club champion guy for Columbus/Indigenous People's Day for a long game fitting, so woods/hybrids will be the final piece of finishing the bag and setting me up until the next big need or move comes around.

..speaking of which... ...thinking about a new iron set myself .. like too many of my club purchases the current 0211s were ummmm a bit impulsive and now .. after a lotta lessons and practice .. I think I'm ready for an official iron fitting to see what might work better...

Not really looking for distance, believe it or not!, but better control / dispersion and feel.

Been looking at the Cally DCBs or maybe Rogue ST; Cobra Forged Tec X or maybe LTDx; or ___??

So, looking at MGS testing and where you're thinking of improving a couple of ideas you don't have listed.

Callaway Rouge Max ST OS, Proto Concept C07, or maybe this new Edel SMS iron line as well.

I love the Halos, they aren’t going anywhere.
Rick and I dm’ed back and forth about the irons back then, and he knows I got a great price for the PXGs, but I always regretted selling them when I bought the Halos. There was no good reason for me to do so, other then my thinking having two sets of clubs is unnecessary.
Now I get to scratch an itch that’s been bothering me. If they’re as good as the Halos, I’ll keep them. If not, with that new 60 day 100% money back guarantee, I’ll send them back. No harm, no foul. That is what probably will happen, but at least I’ll get this sense of regret out of my system.

Are you going to go to Pete’s Golf for the fitting? They’re about the best on the Island that I know of for fittings.
Keep an open mind no matter where you go, and rely on the fitter.
btw if you do decide on the DCB’s, they’re terrific. A few of my friends have them and love them.
The one bad thing is, they’ll be closed out very soon. Your best bet might be get fit for a set, keep your specs and see if you can find a like new set on CPO? Same with the Rogue ST OS.

They look pretty sweet.  If these JPXs don't work for me, I may try and get fitted for the Mizuno Pro 223s.

Drivers drivers and more drivers. Issue is there are so few spots with LH demos that it is a real pain to try and find a good place to get fit. At this point in the season it is also almost better to just wait for the new year and for the new launches of nexts years and maybe get a deal on a demo.

Was looking at the Bettinardi Social pics from last night. Those guys are 100 times worse than @Golfspy_CG2 and I at how much money they spend on golf equipment and accessories.

Yep,  so are the Cameron and Lamb fanatics.   I was at the PGA show in 2010 when Tablerock used to sell Cameron's and the people went crazy for all the high dollar things that were for sale;  sold out in what seemed like 10 minutes.

If you are good enough to swing a golf club then you are good enough to play them... scores may not be great, but won't stop you from smiling everytime you see them!

Exactly---- If they make him happy then by all means go for it---- IMHO a lot of being able to hit a club is if I like the look at address. If I do not like the look at address and overall look I will not even attempt to hit it

Very true. Most of the time I’m fairly consistent with strike location with my irons. My misses tend to be an open or shut face with the occasional thin shot in there.  I’m sure I could game them without much issue but I haven’t played blades in years and the thought of going back is very intimidating lol
