What equipment are you thinking about?

I've had the PING G700s on my mind for a while now... the contest just serves to stoke that flame. I'm a decent ball striker but I've always wondered what would happen if I made the switch to an "ultra game improvement" iron. Sure, I'd catch the occasional flier, but I'm willing to bet my side-to-side dispersion would really tighten-up.

I've also been thinking about buying a cheap left-handed putter. My golf instructor is a righty that putts left-handed, the reason being that he wants his dominant hand leading the club. I am a terrible putter, so I wonder if this would help fix me from inside 12 feet.

Thinking about getting a nasty set of blades. I enjoy smaller club heads and despise offset. I'm not looking to spend more than $200 on a used set with DG S300 shafts. I've been looking at the Titleist MB 710s and some Mizunos. The Mizuno MP32s are just gorgeous.

I used to play the 2007 Callaway X-Forged Cavity Backs and now am playing the Bridgestone J38 Dual Pocket Cavities. I loved the X-Forged but they were non-conforming so I got the J38 PCs which are a little more forgiving but I don't feel that sense of confidence as to where the ball is going to go. Still great irons, just a little chunkier and not as buttery as the X-Forged.

Don't try to convince me they won't work. I am only looking to use them for fun. I've always hit my irons high and feel some MBs may help bring down the flight. If anyone has any good muscle back suggestions, I am all ears.

Because the other day I was hitting my 54* out of the trap far better than the Smart Sole. Plus, having the SS in the bag means my highest lofted wedge is the 54*, and the SS isn't good anywhere besides the sand unfortunately.

I was wandering around Golf Galaxy the other day and they had a set of MP-18 MMC's. Damn those are good looking to my eyeballs. First time I had seen them in person. I have no idea if I can hit them, but I want them.

I probably need new shoes. I see all these new golf shoes that look and feel like normal sneakers, but I prefer the cleated shoes. That's what I learned to play with and I think they definitely grip the ground better, when needed. I like the puma/cobra gear. Any suggestions on a shoe from them?

I have a couple year old version of the Titantours and love them. They are the most comfortable shoes I've owned.

I'd like one for the range, just so I can verify the distances. Still don't plan on using one on the course though.

Why not?

Just not something I am interested in using on the course.

My game is pretty simple. I hit my tee shot and as I walk to it I count my steps after the last yardage post before my ball. With that info I can usually estimate the distance to the pin reasonably well. I feel part of becoming a complete player is being able to judge distance accurately. It's not just the act of swinging the club, it's processing the pre-shot info like distance, wind, lie, etc and making the right club selection based on all the info.

To me, golf is part of the analog world, I don't need to fill it with digital interference.

I just got a replacement sand wedge - old one was about 3 years old and heavily abused! Got a new MD4 with the awesome red grip! First time out of the bunkers was awesome amounts of spin! I'm going to get an MD4 lob wedge next!

Driver is still giving me lots of pain right now - going to try and work out the kinks in my swing first before making an equipment change. Struggling to not hit push-cuts, and I miss my old high bomb-draws!

About pulled the trigger on some 2014 TM Tour Preferred MBs with KBS Tours but I didn't. I think the TMs are now on the top of my list along with any callaway MB or J15 MB.

Unfortunately, I may have partially ruptured my achilles so I am putting a pause on my search of MBs.

May have just pulled the trigger on a g400. At 30% off I couldn't resist knocks a good $175 off Canadian. Don't think I'll even find that deal at the end of season with demos.

I am this week. Luckily, it still feels strong and not painful or swollen. However, it does feel tight so I know I did something to it. Trying to keep the calf stretched as much as possible.

I'm sure most everyone has this same feeling. Currently at work (at a golf course) and am very very happy with everything in my bag. Especially when the new G400 comes :) yet as I sit here waiting for customers to check in I am searching constantly for clubs I don't need all throughout eBay, Kijiji and more.

Its taking me many seasons to get to the point where I'm actually not wanting anything new but always searching incase that one deal that's too good to pass up comes along.

Maybe a 5 wood would be a nice addition? Haha
