Popular Post cnosil 14,521
Picked up a set of these today (4-10) with the Vizard Graphite shaft. At 85gr, the shafts may be a little light, but I wanted to give graphite a try. Gotta figure out gapping for the bag; even thought the lofts of the 6-8 match my Z765s they are about a clubs short the 9-10 are a little stronger than the z765s. The issue I am probably going to have is the gap between the ten degree gap 10 (PW) and my 54*. going to need to find a Gap wedge in th 49/50 range. Do I get the set 11 iron or pick up a specialty wedge? 8 4 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: TS3 15* set to 16.5* w/Project X Hzardous Smoke Hybrids: 816H1 19* set at 18* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 588 54-14, 58-12 Putter: Ten S Backups: 6330, ER2.2, Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017

juspoole 1,390
Thinking about a new 3 wood, but not sure I can justify the spend for it. I don't use a 3 wood that often, but the one I am considering would be the Mavrik standard or Sub Zero model. I hit it at a demo day and remember how easy it was to hit and I could get the ball airborne easily, which is helpful for a middle to low ball hitter like myself. 2 Quote Driver: Mavrik Sub Zero 9* (Set to 10) Ventus Blue 6X 3 Wood: 917F2 Fujikura Pro 84 Tour Spec S 3 Hybrid: 818 H2 Hybrid Tensei Blue 80 X Irons 4-PW: MP 18 SC Dynamic Gold AMT X Gap/Sand Wedge: Vokey SM6 49* SM8 54* Lob Wedge: Jaws 5 Wedge 58* DG Tour Issue Stiff Putter: Inovai 6.0 Pro Platinum Newport 2 35"

Do I get the set 11 iron or pick up a specialty wedge? VERY nice; what made you pick these? In my 919’s I went with the set gap wedge. (Stock loft is 51.). That club is almost always a full or at least flighted shot, and rarely something I’m using around the green. If you’re similar in how you’d use it I’d suggest the set wedge. 1 Quote Driver: TR20 460, Vizard 60g Stiff FW: CBX 119 3w, 15, Project X Evenflow Blue 75g Stiff Hybrids: TS3 3 & 4H, Project X Evenflow Blue 85g Stiff Driving Iron: MP-20 HMB 3i, UST Mamiya recoil ES 780 F3 Iron: JPX 919 Forged 4- GW, Project X 6.0 Wedges:SM7 54 S Grind, 58 M Grind Putter: ER2B Tested the Honma TR20 460 driver
