Don’t sleep on Srixon and pxg for irons. I have the old 0211s and they are money for me. The new ones might fit you well and are a nice blended set.

I'm not sleeping on either.  There's nothing that terribly excited me about the look of the new Srixon irons.  I know I won't see the back of the iron while the club is in hand, but it's a weird Intangible in my window shopping.

PXG.  Oh, PXG.  Much like a Ferrari or a Lamborghini, I wouldn't touch PXG without going to a dealer.

Driver: Cobra Speedzone 10.5 Mitsubishi AV Blue S flex

Wood: Cobra Bio Cell 3-4 Grafalloy Pro Launch Blue (low launch original version) S flex

Hybrids: Taylormade GAPR 3 KBS graphite shaft

Irons: Strata 6-PW R flex

Wedges: Texan Classics 52, 56, 60 R flex

Putter: Odyssey Red Ball mallet

Ball: Srixon Q Star Tour

After my round yesterday, I have all kinds of things going through my mind:

3 wood: keep what I have, change to another, or drop is all together and rely on my longest hybrid.

Putter: after most wanted testing, I am thinking I need to go back to a blade style.

Planemate: swing was off; seems like a good training aid. Maybe just send some full swing videos to my instructor and see what he says.

Hitting net: need to get more practice so I need a net to hit into.

Launch monitor: gotta practice distances.

Divot Board: have liked what @golfspy_mpr has done with this and it seem like a good practice aid.

Would prefer to get to MGS but the above two are just more convenient if I want to go hit a few balls or get a quick video of my swing.

That's a lot to be on one persons mind at one time!  And dangerous if you listen to folks in here!

Planemate could be my next purchase, but that would also require me to get a net... and then I might as well add the divot board too... crap I need to leave this thread!

you are correct it is the hzrdus smoke black. thanks.

More on my earlier post about the yellow. I have had it in ping, 2016 m1/2 and have tested it on a few other heads. A buddy of mine had it m1 and now in sim and another friend has been fit into in ping but never pulls the trigger as he keeps looking for something better in every driver before he finally pulled the trigger on g410lst.

IMO the yellow pairs well with the TM heads, it’s a different but also IMO a better feel than the black both og hzrdus and smoke. If you get it in the right weight and flex for your swing it could be a viable option. Is the ventus red you are getting in the sim2 the version with velocore?

Those all should work. For me I hate the feel of the black and despite success with the yellow and ust helium which are both counterbalanced the Tensei orange and my swing did not get along. I tried it in the m5/6 heads as well as ping.

To my surprise for as much as I don’t like the black the smoke green felt better and worked fine for me in the sim max last year.

@B.Boston, @cnosil I've fallen victim to the Divot Board and mine arrived today! 20210222_150032-01.jpeg.34970f76a54affc9f8701fe6744ff825.jpeg

(with a special appearance by Mercy the pug)

I thought this would be a perfect compliment to my net practice, I didn't pick my username because I thought it was cool. I think on days I just hit the board I'll follow what @GolfSpy MPR did with @Kirke and work in trying to hit certain patterns, off toe, heel shot, etc....

This should be fun, although with some of the training aids I've bought this last year I'm starting to feel like Tin Cup. D18CF1A1-3BA3-4699-AEF9-2D689B1C5032.jpeg.99250d78becb91230909f564be1ca0da.jpg.dd715f83f72066feed984db11efe0b14.jpg

That part of it seems neat.  You can almost use that divot board without a ball and still get a general idea of what's going on at impact.

That's a feature I like, it was too windy today to set up the net so I took it out on the carport and was able to see feedback right away.

Thank you! I can't say I've seen too many training aids that can truly be beneficial, but I believe this is one of them.

Been thinking of trying the jumbo max grips. Anyone else play these before. I had one on the drive last season and really liked the feel and control! I want to try it on a full set but a little wary of the possible loss of touch.
