I mentioned this in the TSi review thread (not an official reviewer) but the TSi 2 and 3 was really forgiving for me especially low in the head where I was striking it. The tee the fitter had was a little short which I didn't think was necessarily helping things, but it's not like I'm a robot so I can't place 100% of the blame on the tee.

TSi3 will likely be my first and last equipment purchase this year while I get a grasp on my finances with the new mortgage and stuff. BIG SADFACE

I'm, as usual, looking at the new drivers this year. TSi2 after reading some nice feedback in the official review thread, and with my personal experience playing the fairways. RAD XB because the Cobras always perform well for people in the CCC.

I found the exact Speeder on eBay and got it shipped for a total of $170, sold my Accra for $155 and am getting pumped for it to arrive. During the fitting, i cracked my Aldila Tour Blue 75X in my 3 wood, but, it was a salvage anyway from a broken driver shaft. I'm gonna try to a buddy's Oban Black 75x, as well as his HZRDUS Blue RDX. 

He said he didn't have an adapter that would fit my F7 hybrid, so tried me in a RAD One hybrid with VA Nemesys shaft, which is also crazy expensive and couldn't out perform my current set up. 

I know I shoulder some of the responsibility for not directing it more and setting my budget out earlier, but all they seemed to do was try to get me into super high end stuff.

Yes that is their business model, but as you mention had you discussed budget earlier they would have worked around that. Them not giving you info sounds like a salty fitter. That is what you are paying for and everyone I’ve seen has gotten that info regardless of they ordered clubs or not

yeah, i told him going into it that I couldn't afford to do all new heads and shafts (just realized that I left that out of the above story) , so I wanted to just do the shaft upgrades as I loved the F9 Driver and FW heads anyway, but almost $500 for a shaft that can be found on the secondary market for 40% of their pricing is insane. The buddy who is gonna lemme try his Oban and RDX has a fitter in Florida he works with, and he can get me the Aldila rogue driver shaft with Cobra tip and new grip shipped to my house for $185 out the door, so the $300 mark up was extreme.

thanks for the heads up. I got the speeder 757 on eBay and it's at my house now, gonna build it up next week. gonna try the Oban black from a buddy and if i like it, i'll buy it off him. but I will keep @Manimal26 on my list of contacts!

Thinking about a new lob and gap wedge. Either the SM8 or Mizuno T20’s. Going to try and hit both and test. Have the vokey sm8 54* now so I know I like those.

Also related to golf, looking to buy a gaming laptop so that I can play my skytrak with the golf club 2019 software. I know a desktop would be better to update in future but I don’t have a permanent spot for my sim at the moment so a laptop would be best for my use.

Like the new TM Spider S and SR. Classic number 7 shape but changeable rear weighting and toe hang options in the 20 to 25 degree range. But before I consider buying one of those, I need to commit to my arm lock attempt, which happens to be with a number 7 shape putter as well (Odyssey).

You can probably save a bit of money on the laptop by not buying a "gaming" laptop. If TGC can run on a console, it can run on a "normal" laptop with a discrete video card

The recommended specs include a GTX 660 which is from 2012....

True.  I've read up a lot about computer components and researched quite a bit.  A lot more time working from home and with an injury lol.  

I've seen good deals on gtx 1060's which will run it pretty well too.  My only concern is that they come up with an updated version of the game in 3/4 years that requires better specs.  Almost considering just biting the bullet and getting one with a 3060 card when it comes out in a few days.  Or a 2060.

Those new Copper Cobra Irons looks damn good, which made me remember I want to hit the MIM tours to see how they feel compared to the Forged Tecs.

I'm going to PGASS for a Practice session on Friday... I plan to swing the Epic MAX LS when I'm there too.  Maybe I'll throw the irons on there too.

Some of the new puma polos and sweaters look nice too.  I like some of the colors they have this year.

Have my fitting tomorrow for driver. So all driver thoughts going through my head...Curious to see what I look like with my current setup and if shaft will change? Also excited to see what head I will be rolling with....Might leave with a wedge too....anything is possible.

I can't imagine anything you swing tomorrow will sound more thunderous and explosive than how you were hitting the TSi3.  If anything I just hope you swing that one the same and make your decision easy.

Better than almost 300 carry?  Who do you think you are? Matty @TXG or @Chip Strokes? Keep tweaking that delivery and you’ll get there with a persimmon driver.
