What equipment are you thinking about?

Thinking of a G410 plus driver. Anyone have spin comparisons with that and the LST? I need a low spin head but want some forgiveness. Looking at older models unless i go for a fitting at the 2021 models blow me away (and my wallet)

Looking for some used or reasonably priced new wedges, need to get out to some local places to see if I can find anything used or clearance around me. I have a 50 and 54 of the Maltby TSWs (with TTDG stiffs) in a cart right now but am waiting to pull the trigger. I was thinking the TTDG stiffs would be good because I have been told I am a decent ball striker and will be using both for full shots so I wasn't very confident that the Score shafts would work well for me.

I am currently without PW and all I have is my Adams GT Xtreme2 56 SW that I have had for 10+yrs, I like how the grind looks so that I can open the face up on the 54 for sand shots and getting fancy.

Opinions/Advice is welcomed.

I'm not sure if it qualifies as "equipment" but I'm considering the switch to JumboMax grips... After my last round of golf and feeling that there was just something off with my control of the clubs I started researching new grips and found a lot of positive reviews of the JumboMax Ultralight. I ordered some to try so we'll see...

If someone can't hit a hybrid or a traditional long iron well, why not go super SGI long iron. I'm not talking typical SGI, i mean Wilson Launch Pad style long iron. Am I overlooking something?

I went with a Ping G410 Crossover a couple of years to replace my 4 iron. At the time I was struggling with consistency with my 3 hybrid so I opted for something more iron like.

The Ping G410 Crossover is more like a typical utility iron. I'm talking super behemoth SGI iron

12 degree driver. I put my TSI to +1.5 degrees, which is 11.5 and was hitting the ball much farther.

Thinking I need to go get fit for a driver. Never has been a strong point of my game...but the TSI2/3 have peaked my interest....Never played a Titleist wood before (and if you know me and the amount of clubs I've gone through that's saying a lot!)

I'm pretty sure I'm going to run by after golf today and pick up a pair of Footjoy Men's Hyperflex 21 Golf Shoes.  I walk 90 % of the time now and these have great reviews for walking.

I’m not one to change equipment very often but it’s time. I’ve been testing some demos with the help of the PGA Professional at my home club for 3 weeks now.

I have absolutely fallen in love with the i210 irons. Trying to zero in on the right shaft. It’s looking like DG 120 S300 is going to be the winner. We’ve tested everything.

My first irons were Tommy Armour 845. I played them from age 11 until buying a set of Eye 2 at about age 19. Then played nothing but Ping until right around age 40. I didn’t even realized I missed Ping and Dynamic Gold until that first strike with the i210. That old familiar feeling was like finding a $20 bill in some old jeans in the back of the closet.

The familiar ball flight and spin numbers with the traditional lofts is something I didn’t realize I missed either. I probably hit 50 balls Friday with the 7 iron. You could have thrown a blanket over 47 of them! Distance was a consistent 156 yards and average distance from the centerline was a foot.

Waiting for the weather to break to dive into a wedge fitting before placing the order.

Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

Everything was finalized and the order placed yesterday morning. Ended up with the Project X 6.0 shafts in the i210’s rather than the DG 120 S300. Surprisingly better ball flight and numbers with the PX 6.0.

Settled on Ping Glide 3.0 wedges. The 50* and 54* with Project X 6.0 and the Dynamic Gold S200 in the 58*. Chipping results were best with the slightly softer shaft which my PGA Pro predicted.

Ended up getting the best results with Titleist TSi2 driver with HZRDUS Smoke Black. Choice of driver head was pretty easy. We spent a lot of time between shafts though. Some were easily eliminated. Others were similar is result. Just came down to ball flight and feel.

I do similar.  I've got a 9.5*, but crank it up 2 degrees to 11.5.  My launch angle is still a bit lower than I'd prefer because I still hit down a couple degrees.  Working on hitting up a bit more but find I lose some accuracy because it's a bit of a foreign swing to me.

I lose some distance, especially this time of year in softer conditions, but not that big of deal during summer.  Still would prefer to hit up the "proper" way, but just need more reps and maybe a lesson or two.

Edel wedges as well.  But I can't see that there is a left handed option available from looking at website.

Also I really like the look and feel of the Ping Glide 3.0...

Between the two of those.

So I checked the Tour Grind MG, 56* is in stock and I changed the TSW 50* to 52* and I will probably just order one of each and see how they are. So now a question, Does anyone know how these club compare to each other? Follow up is how the KBS Hi REV 2.0 X-Flex compares to the TTDG X-100 shaft?
