I'm going to ponder on it all day tomorrow. The question is, blue or black? Black would match my driver, but the blue looks soooo good.

I like matching. My XR and Evnroll headcovers really kill my black/white/green bag swag

I know y'all are probably tired of hearing me talk about needing new irons but every time I get ready to pull the trigger something new is announced or there's a repair needed.

I had a chance to hit the JPX 900 tours and forged the other day. I have to say I loved to looks of the tours at address and when you catch them on the screws they felt like a hot knife through butter. That being said the results the forged irons produced beat out the tours for my game. Both were tested with Project X LZ 6.0 shafts. I'll definitely be keeping these on a short list and make up my mind once I swing the new AP2s along with a few others.

I am also interested in the new Ping G400s. While there is some concern about the stopping power of these irons due to the lower spin I have to say they look great and with the numbers they are putting out it would be worth testing these while I am in the market for new sticks. I am at the point in my game where if I can sneak some forgiveness in my irons at the sacrifice of some control that's fine.

Below is a picture of my current AP2 5, 7, and PW. Just to show y'all I am not crazy saying I need a new set of clubs lol.

IMG_20170712_120723.jpg

As always I'll keep you all up to date as I try new clubs. If there's enough interest, maybe I could make a thread and treat it like a blog since I plan on demoing a lot of irons.

Thanks. Even the Mrs. has given me her blessing just need to figure out what I like and what suits my game the best.

I think I am going to test Callaway irons next. There's a demo day coming up a friend told me about so that will be a great opportunity to see their product line.

And if any fellow spy's have any recommendations please let me know I am open to any suggestions. I know I'll need a stiff staff maybe even extra stiff. The last two demos I went to placed me right between the two.

I need the new Steelhead 3 wood 3+ I grabbed my driver a G400 and the steel head. I was blowing the steelhead by the drivers by 10 yards. Dont forget it was more down the middle too. I will probably buy one and put the Driver in the closet

Thinking about trying some Bridgestone B330RX or RXS balls. No real reason. Would like to see how they compare to the Chrome Soft.

I spent a lot of time at the Quicken Loans tournament last week. I noticed that a significant number of the pros were wearing the Footjoy Pro SL golf shoe. Since I haven't purchase a new pair a golf shoes in years, I may break down and buy a pair. Anyone using them, what do ya think?

I also noticed that several pros appear to have soft spikes on their shoes, but when they walked on pavement they made the old familiar clicking sound. Is there some sort of acceptable hybrid shoe spike?

I got them in spikeless, had to get half a size smaller, probably could go a size smaller than I thought but I wear thick socks. Really comfortable and with the Boa system it's amazing!

Highly recommended for price.

I need a new putter grip... was thinking about the Scotty Matador midsize... doesn't Winn make that grip?  I'd hate to pay more than I should because the word "Scotty" is on the grip... if you know what I mean;

Anyone have a grip that they really like?  Been told in my fitting last week that a large SuperStroke/FlatCat type grip would not be good for me due to my strong arc stroke.

I got something to say then I'm gonna say it.

Wedges. I need 3. 50, 54, 58.

I'm dying to switch up my yardage gaps since I'm always just a few yards short of my gap.

I've found myself cruising eBay for a set of those too lately. I'm completely happy with my bag, but the MP32's might be my favorite Mizuno iron.
