Going to a shaft fitting for my driver on Friday. Interesting that it just so happened to be in the same week that MGS is releasing info on shaft fitting.

After watching the video on the putter technology, I've really got it in my head that I need to switch to one of the top tech putters.  For me, I'm mostly interested in the the EVNROLL, Cleveland TFI 2135 or Ping Ketsch,

 

I'll be keeping my eyes on eBay to try and pick a used one up at a deal.

Time to stop using my putter for the way it looks, and focus on what gives me the best opportunity to put the ball in the hole!

Yea the Cleveland TFI 2135 center shafted model would definitely be  interesting.  I think it looks good and it wouldn't break the bank.  

 

I stayed closed to your city (Niceville) this summer on vacation.  We were at the Air Force camping grounds which was just right down the road.  We played a golf course called Blue Bayou (I think) and had a blast!

I'm guessing you played Blue Water Bay.  There's also Rocky Bayou, so guess it could be that one as well.

I just moved there in March of this year and I'm still exploring all the courses - there are a bunch of quality places to play in that area - it's awesome!  I play most of my rounds at Eglin AFB's course, it's open to the public.

It's a fun track, with lots of challenges and holes with elevation changes (somewhat unique in Florida).

 

Stay in touch, next time you're in the area - let me know.  It'd be good to get in a round of golf with a MGS 'family' member!

It was Blue Water Bay!  Yea my brother-in-law's son-in-law (Jeff) is a pilot at Eglin and he plays golf on occasion.  We may head back down there next summer and if so, I'll send ya a pm letting ya know.

Just got an Evnroll ER1 and played a few rounds.... After owning upwards of about 15 putters since I began playing 3 years ago I must say it's definitely #1.
