Looking at the pics of .. and reading T's post about .. those new Ping G700s have me maybe possibly considering perhaps sometime could be giving them a test.....

 

Intrigued about that 48% tighter dispersion claim (more important to me vs outright distance).

Not at all- those are some beauties, and felt great.

 

thinking hard about the Adams CMB irons now.

 

Tony C. had a great write up about them and called them a poor man's version of Miura.

I have never, and I will never tell anyone "You must go buy these irons", but dude, if you're going to buy a set of player's cavity backs, you damn sure better try this iron. Just don't try it first - you may not try anything else. In my estimation the Adams CMB are every bit worthy of being called The Poor Man's CB-501, but if you are that poor man who puts them in your bag, I wouldn't expect anyone to feel sorry for you.

VERY intrigued by the mizuno mp32's .... scouring the interwebs and these rate as some of the best of all time.

 

Anyone have a set that they want to share a quick review about?

 

I have a set of single length and need a set of progressive...

 

note - did a search for 'best irons of all time' and was really surprised how frequently the ping eye 2 were mentioned...by far the most liked.

Had a set. Easily the best irons I've owned. Traded them in thinking that I needed a more forgiving set and I regret doing that until this day.

Do the front wheels swivel?

No, not on 4-wheel carts. They do turn a bit if you "steer" by pushing to one side on the handle, but typically you just push slightly down to unweight the front wheels and turn the cart .. no big deal, really.

Just picked up the F8+ 3W last night to match my driver. Hit it fairly well on the Sim with the XS shaft. I changed the loft up to the max 15°

How would you compare F8+ head size to an epic or callaway 3 wood? Does it actually look small, like hybrid small?
