ZachSvec
I couldn't wait, so I placed an offer and it was accepted. Mizuno MP-18 SC. Heads only. Which is perfect because most of the time I have to change the shafts on eBay purchase anyway. Got what I think is a pretty good deal. They are almost brand new only used a few he says about 10 -15 swings per club, and the 4 iron has never been hit. Whole mp-18 range looks absolutley class, hope you enjoy the preformance they certainly look the part! Golfspy_CG2
MGS seems to be filled with a lot of cobra supporters something which i wouldnt have called myself in the past but the forged tec black irons look absolutley stunning. Cant wait to try those out and really interested in any of the newer players distance irons p790, ap3, forged tec, etc. Would love to hear some thought on any of those type of sets if anyone bags a set currently or has experience with them. With good reason. Cobra has such a solid setup now from top to bottom. As i said about PING, Cobra is a brand i could put all 13 (no putter) clubs in my bag and totally be happy with them. The technology in the F8 seems so cool, and a set of One Lengths has always been very appealing to me. Their FW/hybrids seem like money!! Never tried the wedges but they look awesome. Certainly going to look to them regarding new clubs from here on out for many of the reasons you listed, new F8 woods from my limited time with them seem awesome and i really like how they seem to be going for the more modern look on all their new equipment. Kor.A.Door
Ok now I have the heads for my new irons, and I need to purchase new shafts. No problem. Except I cannot find the specs anywhere and I'm tired of looking, are the MP18 SC heads .355 taper tip. (I assume that) or are they .370 parallel tip. I have searched and cannot find it. I'm tired of looking. Can someone help. I assume they are .355 taper, but before I spend he money on new shafts I want to make sure. killerbgolfer
Thought we could have a thread to hear about what equipment is on everyone's mind? Thinking about pulling the trigger on something? Waiting for a release date? Drooling over something but just dont have the funds? What equipment is on your mind? I've been playing redbird avian irons for about a year and couldn't be more impressed. I'm leaning towards picking up a driver from the same company but am waiting until I can go get professionally fit for it. Its tough to get an idea on the distance as we were playing in a constant 15mph wind. But i bought it hoping to get a consistent 200 yards out of it. Id say i was pretty close to that on a couple holes yesteeday.
