What equipment are you thinking about?

Also thinking about a hard case. Heading down to FL in a few months and sending my clubs via shipsticks. Any recommendations? I know hard cases aren't necessary but gives me peace of mind.

SKB is supposed to be one of the better, more durable, ones but.... They are a bit on the heavy side, imo. So the case plus your bag and gear can surpass the weight limit.

Go read Dave Stockton's Unconscious Putting. Game changer for me

I may need to read that. I'll check it out. I really just have a mental block. I left at least 10 putts really short the other day, which caused most of the 6 three putts. I also put 2 well past the hole that caused a couple as well.

When I start considering new equipment, I realize I don't have the money and I should just learn to use what I've got. I doubt there's anything out there that's going to cure what ails my game.

I'm on the lookout for some new irons and have been for some time, to be honest i'm always on the lookout for anything that significantly outperforms my current gear and altho i've found several sets of irons i'd happily game i tend to find the irons that give more distance and don't necessarily compromise on dispersion give me that flyer type shot especially when hitting from the tee when you catch them a couple of grooves high on the face which makes them useless compared to my (Some would say) obsolete 5 year old CB irons or my even older (Even ancient) blades. I love what Cobra are doing and the fact they offer some fantastic shaft options without the expensive upcharge is a big deal for me so im patiently waiting for the newer versions of their irons to hit the pro shop.

I used to in the past just replace my whole bag every year regardless of improvement or not but i must say i've totally changed my ways (It's party time for the other half!) and expect some sort of noticeable gain before pulling the trigger. Saying that it's great to stand up with a 5 year old driver and knock it past your playing partners new £400 toy :) (Not in a nasty way it's just me and my playing partners like to have fun when playing and things like this are like ammunition for the banter during a round!).

Just because you out drove your buddy's new driver with one 5+ years old doesn't mean you couldn't benefit from something newer as well.

Thinking about changing putters myself, I've been using the same Metal X Milled #7 for about 4 years.

I am still a decent putter according to my stats, but I just don't feel like I am making as many of the 5-10 foot putts as I used to.

Do you want a similar shape or are you looking for something fresh?

Honestly I am not sure, I have played the face balanced mid mallet type for awhile now.

I probably need to find a good putter fitting somewhere and let that dictate what I play.

Shouldn't have watched Rick's video about the PING Glide 2.0 Stealth... making me regret ordering that cobra.

I have the non stealth version and they are outstanding... I'm sure the Cobra will be very good but these are exceptional. Spin, distance, accuracy, milled face and grooves still sharp as ever.

Do I trade my Spider Tour Black for a Bettinardi BB1?

I would love to get some ap3s. I have a mix of mostly game improvement irons but do have some Nike pro forged irons with stiff flex shafts and love the feel and performance off it. I think the ap3 would still provide that forgiveness but looks so much nicer than game improvement irons so I would love to game those.

I posted a while ago about the Mizuno irons, and I'm still thinking about them...so much so, that after playing with Titleist (714 AP2 and 716 CBs) for the past couple of years, I went back to some MP-15s to experiment (with a couple MP-H5s in the mix for the long irons). I've only been able to play some sim golf so far this year, but I think they're keepers.
