My shoulders hurt just thinking about trying to move that fast... probably my back too, and every tendon attached to every muscle included in the golf swing... ouch.

I’m going to see what I can do today... with my 4 iron.  My guess is 97 tops...  shooting for 122 though, that should motivate me into swinging the 97 that I’m thinking.

Those are some legitimately crazy numbers regardless of how uncontrolled you were.

No kidding.  I didn’t lose my balance, and it was actually better I think at 130%... now, I just need to learn how to use it....

I legitimately thought I would be 100 or less even maxed out.  I do not see what distance this would equate to on course... if I did, I would be in the trees on the left 99% of the time with a pull hook.

Glad everyone is getting out to throw their back out today!

@Shankster I think swinging like this can be helpful, 1) helps you realize what you can get up to and 2) I was playing around with yesterday what I felt comfortable with getting up to, for me 104 felt pretty good and could be a crisp shot, range time hopefully to tell. That 131 is impressive, I might have to get out of my office in a few minutes and see....Post to come....

@edingcnice work there, how did you feel swinging all out with it? I found a couple times getting a wider base helped me feel a little more stable and could potentially if I really wanted to crank it up on course.

Anyway I am hoping that since I dont have the SS sticks this could atleast help me get up that speed again.

I'm a wide-base guy naturally, and can get very wide if I don't pay much attention to setup. Definitely a good way to add a bit of speed. I've really enjoyed swinging all out this offseason, I think it's translated to a few more MPH on my "normal" swings. Big fan.

Feeling it now... had to put a few more swings in.  Had one of the kids video me.  I do not like the way the swing looks.  Flat backswing, and what looks to be a much steeper downswing.... nasty looking.  Definitely would produce a bunch of pull type shots.

I’ve been struggling to shallow out the downswing since my shoulder surgery a few years ago.  Might just have to learn to play with the outside in swing, and take advantage of hitting moon balls.

Ahhh, nice...... I took the new irons to the range, and saw what I needed to see: more forgiveness! There is a definite difference between the TR20 Tour V and these Tour P in that area. Feel isn’t as plush, but it’s solid, reminds me of my Z545 irons. I couldn’t tell distances because I was hitting into the sun, and the “greens” on the range were very hairy, but flights were all close to the same, repeatedly. I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens on-course. I’ll get my first chance with them during the week this week.

First round out... I’m going to do my best to reach 131 on the first tee.  It’s wide open in all directions... might as well see what happens...
