Thanks for the opportunity to win such a great package . I'm a new golfer with a 23

handicap. I have been working hard to improve and love the game.  I would take the advice of the experts but believe that I am a candidate for the Z355 series clubs and

woods.  I had a Cleveland fitting for a custom wedge and I love it. I would pick the new RX cavity back wedges to fill in the gaps.  My short game improvement is driving the score down.  I think I would select the 2135 Cero putter, but again, I have learned to listen to qualified guidance and counsel. Thanks again.

Here is my DREAM  :)  golf bag if I were to get picked to be fit like a pro in  :cleveland-small:  :srixon-small: equipment!

Driver: I love the  :srixon-small:  Z 765 with 10.5* loft and an X-stiff Aldila Rogue shortened to about 45" since Im only 5'9"

Woods: I prefer the  :srixon-small:  ZF65 3Wood with a matching X-stiff Aldila Rogue, also shortened. I love the clean, gloss finish on the head when you look down and address the ball.

Hybrid: I think my dream bag includes the  :srixon-small:  Z H65 Hybrid with an X-stiff Aldila or Kuro graphite shaft with 19* loft.

Irons: I have always loved the Srixon irons and I would definitely want to be fitted into the  :srixon-small:  Z 765 irons. The blades look even better but I don't have the skill to play those quite yet.

Wedges: The  :cleveland-small:  RTX-3.0's look so nice at address and I am a traditional guy so I would stick with the tour satin look with 50*, 54* and 58* combo.

Putter: Im a face-balanced mallet player so Id have to go with the  :cleveland-small:  Huntington Beach 6 with WinnPro X grip.

Thanks mygolfspy for the chance to upgrade from the RTX-2.0's!

FYI, I see where you can buy a dozen ZStar balls and Z Star XV for $19.99 on Amazon Prime and Srixon site is BOGO for $39.99.  Not bad for anyone interested in stocking up on a good ball.

Cleveland Launcher CBX & HB Irons

Heads up gang - time for another MyGolfSpy Community Forum Review opportunity!
You guys may remember our trip to Cleveland Golf HQ in Huntington Beach, CA last December. The folks at Cleveland/Srixon/XXIO showed our forum members a wonderful time and outfitted them with a full bag of brand new Cleveland gear..including either the new Launcher CBX or Launcher HB irons, whichever was the best fit.

It was so much fun, and the guys loved the clubs so much, that we wanted to give you an opportunity to try them out for yourself.

We're looking for 4 avid MGS'ers to do the MGS thing and give a thorough, professional and honest review of the new Cleveland irons. We need two of you to review the Launcher CBX irons, and two more to review the ultra-forgiving Launcher HB irons.

And after you review them, you get to keep them - how about that!

As you know, we take our Forum Testing VERY seriously at MGS. This is NOT A GIVEAWAY, but a unique opportunity for you to become a real golf gear reviewer. It's a full 2 month commitment, and you'll be expected to give the irons a thorough testing both on the course and on the practice range, and you'll be given a detailed review template upon which to base your review (we do try to make it as easy as possible!).

You'll also be asked to visit the review thread often answer questions and share your journey with your fellow forum members (and ask anyone who done an MGS review before, they'll tell you - it's a hoot!)

This opportunity is open to anybody residing in the US or Canada. Think you have what it takes to be an MGS reviewer? Here's what you have to do:

      In this thread, tell us:

      1. Your first name and home state or province
      2. Your current irons/shafts (flex and brand)
      3. Your current handicap
      4. Your preferred irons to test (visit the Cleveland Golf Website to check out the details)

We'll be announcing the testers next week, so make sure to check back here to see if you've been chosen.

      Good luck!
Well another great turnout and batch of testing applications, this one was truly not easy, lots of great candidates but in the end, these four gentleman have shown a true commitment to MGS and been active in the community.  Two of them are proven past reviewers who we know will do a great job, and TWO FIRST TIME reviewers, who we have been great contributors in their time on MGS.   S
      Please welcome me in congratulating:
      CBX Testers:
      HB Testers:
      Ole Gray
Stay tuned later today or tonight for a PM from me with more details and asking for some additional information.     We're thrilled to have the four of you take part in this testing and know you will bring lots of great information to the forum.

      (3) TESTERS Announced

      Cleveland Launcher HB Driver
With Your Choice of Premium Shaft

Do like your drivers long and beastly or straight and narrow? Do you like to fiddle with features or do you prefer grip it and rip it simple?

There are no wrong answers here, it's just a matter of what you value.

And if you value a driver with a yard-to-dollar ratio close to 1, you might just find value in the Cleveland Launcher HB.

There's a lot of 2008 in the new Cleveland Launcher HB - there's the name, of course, and the updated HiBore crown. There's no adjustable hosel, and a $299 price tag that will make you feel young again.

The Launcher HB was a solid performer in this year's Most Wanted Testing, finishing in the top half of the pack, only 3 yards behind the PING G400 LST but with a 25% lower sticker price. That's how the off-the-rack model performer for us, but we'd like to see how a customized model works for you.

We want THREE avid golfers to test, review and keep the Cleveland Launcher HB equipped with YOUR CHOICE of any premium shaft in the Cleveland catalog (click here to see the lineup).

      Yes, ANY SHAFT.

      How To Apply:

All applications must be made in this thread, so please follow the instructions carefully.

      Please tell us the following:

Your first name and your home state/province
      Your current driver/shaft combination
      Your driver swing speed/carry distance
      Your current handicap

Congratulations to the following testers.   Details coming via PM from me shortly.
