Kind of defeats the whole point of the balls.  Some guy on WRX is trying to unload one dozen for $35.  If I was going to pay that for a dozen I'd just get Snells and save some money.

Or he's a really, really, really bad Golfer, lol I must admit, I bought 10 dozen Nike'platinum ball quite a few summers ago thinking it would last me a few years, but all of a sudden I developed a hitch in my swing where I was slicing every ball off the tee, even irons off the tee. Then I'd follow that up with shank/slice on shots that I manged to get in play. That was a tough summer..

I wonder how the Kirkland Ball will affect the smaller guys like Vice, MG C4, Snell and so on? I mean their business is built on have a Pro V1 challenger for less, but no way they can compete with a costco ball's price.

 

I really liked the MG C4 and at $20 a dozen it was a great price, but now pretty much the same ball from Costco at $30 for 2 dozen? I think I'll be switching to the Costco ball.

Got my 2-pack this weekend. Going to put them in play this week. I rolled a few on the practice green and they feel great. Very interested to see how they compare in full shots and around the green.

Played with them today, one word review.......LEGIT.

 

Conditions not optimal in buffalo NY on 27 November, but they performed just as well as my usual prov1x. Absolutely making the shift if they are regularly available and maintain the price point of $15/doz

Been playing these since they came out. It's a good ball. Feels great off irons, distance is good, spin around the greens could be better, but it's still good. Can't beat the price. I use these and Bridgestone 330rx's. Love both.

I was one of the lucky few who received my 10 dozen balls before they sold out the last time. Tried it out for the first time yesterday and this ball is a winner! The ball preformed as reviewed from tee to green. Was really impressed on how soft this ball feels coming off the putter. Feels like butter! Been playing ProV1x for almost 8 years and I'm officially done buying them as long as I can get my hands on the Ksig for $15.00 a dozen. 

 

Already gave a couple dozen away for Christmas gifts to my boys. I'm guessing they will be on board as well.

First outing with the Kirkland ball today and I decided to go all in and game it in a tournament.  Holy cow is this thing amazing!!  I ended up winning not only my handicap flight but the overall low net in the tournament.

 

Sadly I did lose one on #16 with a silly pull off the tee but that ball looked like I had literally just taken it out of the package.  Not a scratch, ding, scuff or any blemish anywhere on it.

 

Performance was simply superb.  Came off the driver and FW like a rocket, yet soft off irons and wedges.  In fact, I was a little worried about the latter part of that statement because it was in the low 40's today, so I kind of expected some harshness with my irons.  Not at all the case.  Feel was really solid and I felt like I had a lot of control around the greens.

 

I told my buddies in my group that I will game Kirkland balls for as long as they make them, which I hope is a long time to come.  Big brands need to pay attention to what is going on here because I don't think we've seen the end of how this ball will impact major OEMs business going forward.

Sucks that they aren't here in Canada yet. They are expensive right now on eBay so I'm going to stick with my Snell MTBs until I can try these at a reasonable price

The next hole I decided to give it a go and pass it around to my playing partners.

Off the driver it was clicky, but long enough. I hit a seven iron square, at least I thought so anyway. 25 years short. It was uphill and a blind landing so we all thought I was going to be within 10 feet. Nope, super short. Again a bit clicky off the putter.

My partners thought it felt like a Pro-V. Which is their ball of choice. Suckers! (They won't play one of my snells).

I went directly back to my MTB and shan't go near anything else anytime soon.

I got my alarm set!!  Played the KS ball yesterday and let my buddy play one.  It was only nine holes but when we walked off the final hole I wiped down the ball he was using and showed it to him.  Looked absolutely brand new and he was like "man, I need to get some of these".

... Reasons why the new shipment isn't on my radar: Wind chills 30 below zero. A slight tear in my labrum and teres minor of the rotator cuff. Can't lift my arm to shoulder height and looking at another 6 weeks of rehab. AND I bought 6 dozen KS when they were first introduced. Good luck on the 20th fella's!
