ole gray 17,886
Is that on WRX? Awesome if so. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy I've only been on WRX a time or two. No it's another large forum that makes fun of the rankings that Golf Digest comes out with yearly. Everybody has an opinion and their opinion is pretty strong against the way Golf Digest grades equipment. I'm sure they agree with some of the "Gold" picks however most are laughed at. I'm also sure not everyone on that forum totally agrees with the core group that chooses to make fun of the picks. 4 Quote Cleveland Launcher XL 10.5 Driver Cleveland Launcher xl halo hy-wood 18 Degree Cleveland Launcher XL Halo 7- wood Cleveland Launcher XL Irons 5 - PW Cleveland CBX 2 50 & 54 Degree Wedge Cleveland CBX Full-Face Wedge 58 degree TaylorMade Spider X Hydro Blast Single Bend Putter Square Strike Wedge aka pocket picker

Love how the writer says "There is a reason Titleist -- and not Kirkland Signature -- is played by Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler and Adam Scott (aside from them all being paid, of course)." Actually no, they all play Titleist balls because Scott and Speith are equipment staffers and Ricky is a ball staffer. Popular Post Paulgt3 33
First of all this is my first post I LOVE this site. Thanks for having me. I am a titleist lover. I have a SC putter 4 vokey wedges, AP2s 716 917 D2 and a F3, but I dont love the ball. Then I found the KSig. But this is something I did on Oct the 21st I think the day I got my new 917 driver. It came with a diamana Blue shaft and I had it fitted. I had a 915 with a Rouge silver shaft. I wanted to make sure my setup was good before I sold on the 915, so I went to my course and #1 was empty and I took both drivers and some ProV1s and hit both drivers to get a base line. My first drive with the 917 was 265 down the middle. I was driving well for about 6 weeks so it was a great time to do the test. I felt that first drive was a great base line. I hit 2 more out of 10 that were within a yard of the first one. I left it out there as THE mark. I switched shafts and nothing came close to those 3 and the Mark. So I put them back to the original configuration and the first drive with the 917 and diamana blue was within a FOOT of the first drive. So I was satisfied that the new setup was the best one for me. I hit 5 more and 3 were within 5 yards and I was getting tired. BUT WAIT I had 3 Ksigs in my bag! What a time to see if this ball is as good as I thought. It was my first sleeve and they were still in my bag. I teed up one and BOOM 12 yards by the MARK! I teed up the 2nd and almost within a yard AGAIN of the first KSig (but about 15 yards to the right in azimuth still in the fairway) and 12 yards past the MARK. I never played another ball since then. So when I saw the GolfSpy test I was 100% convinced they knew what they were doing. I dont give a Rats caboose what Haney and Breed says. But Seriosly what do you think Breed is going to say? His show has Scotty putters all over the place, He uses AP2s and Ap1's so if he wants to keep his sponsorship money he CANT say anything different than what he did. Thats fine. I think a lot of these prima donna's dont have the pulse of the grass roots golfers. The Pulse thats captured on sites like this. They dont care what the muni playing amatuer thinks or cares about. They live in the upper crust paid by the manufactures to say certain things. thank God for GolfSpy
Paulgt3 33
I forgot to add: I am a retired engineer. I spent my whole life designing testing and integrating stuff for the Navy and Marine corps Attack aircraft over 30 years, so I felt OK in what I did and the results I got. I spent a whole lot of time testing stuff that goes fast. I was a rocket scientist, even worked on the Tomahawk cruise missile program for awhile (I was stationed at Naval Air Warfare Center at China Lake California we had one golf course with in 70 miles. Now in Idaho I have 40 courses in 50 miles!!) No I didnt record data (I did take a pic with my phone of the 2 balls on the fairway after the KSig went by. It was a Linda Rhonstadt drive Blew BY YOU!!) but I felt like I had the answer to the question I was asking myself. Also I used Prov1's only because I didnt want a ProV1x or other ball tilting the results. So I used only ProV1

Popular Post Kor.A.Door 5,844
So I was playing golf with one of our pastors this morning and at the first tee he says, have you heard about the ball that's sweeping the nation, I said the Kirkland ball, he said yes, and there's this website called My Golf Spy that really promotes this stuff, I said I know I am a member. 13 Quote Lefties are always in their Right Mind

Paulgt3 33
Thanks Guys, I just moved to Nampa from China Lake California in the middle of the mojave desert. I can tell you the welcome I got here was quite abit warmer than the "other" golf website. In fact I posted the results of that test right after I did it and some know it all on that site said " You hit one ball past the others and its supposed to be a good test?" I said I was just noting my observations and as a scientist I felt the results could be repeated" But he had to get his disdain in for what ever reason and that seems to not be an uncommon response over there which is just brimming with "experts" Kenny doesnt seem like we are too far apart. In fact I was offered a job there at the tri city area. Is that Kennewick?

You will see some great stuff reviewed by regular guys giving as you stated, their observations, but albeit more in depth. Now all we need is Costco to get some more balls in stock so we can get the members here to hit them from all over the world and in all different seasons. 1 Quote WITB - Driver - TaylorMade M2 - Stiff flex / 12.5* 3 & 7 Wood - TaylorMade M2 6i -Gap - TaylorMade M4- Stiff flex Wedges - TaylorMade ATV 55* & 60* Putter - Odyssey 2 Ball Ball - Titleist Pro V1 Bushnell Tour V3 rangefinder Right Handed Neutral lie on all clubs
