Oh man Craig, of all the great quotes in Tin Cup that one is my favorite! My wife and I quote it whenever one of us hits an errant hosel rocket.

 

My favourite comes from a playing partner at my course's weekly skins game. Whenever a low runner, thinned, fat, or just otherwise didn't do what you want it to shot is hit he always hollers from his cart, "DON'T CUSS IT YET! DON'T CUSS IT YET!" Of course the shots he says that on always end up heading towards the green...

I randomly open to any page from time to time .. it's just a true classic!

 

And "ditto" - I also try to remember the title as a swing mantra

("try" being the operative keyword here .. cannot say my next shot _will_ hit its target, tho........ )
