1. I have purchased the 2/3 , 3/4 and 4/5 King 6 hybrids because of your reviews and your recommendation that Cobra is making quality golf clubs. I've always felt this way but, they seem to be getting even better. I'm also going to be looking at new irons in 2017 and will be seriously giving the 1 length irons a serious look and tryout due to your article about them.

2. MGS has been great for the reason that you tell it like it is and give unbiased reviews of golf equipment and also how the golf industry is changing for better or worse. I trust your reviews more than the BIG name magazines because you tell us how you test and give the results even if it might hurt the feelings of the major OEM's. (Snell vs. Titleist) :)

3. Yes. These hybrids have helped me hit more greens in regulation and made golf even more fun. They have  honestly lowered my score about 3-4 strokes a round.

4. By giving me added confidence in my game. I also know that I can swing my driver without coming out of my shoes now, because I know I'll be able to hit more greens in regulation because of the added distance, accuracy and forgiveness of these hybrids.

. Have you purchased any golf products based on MyGolfSpy reviews?  (Please list which ones.)

Haven't purchased as it's expensive and sometimes impossible to order for a U.K.address. have really wanted to try the Snell balls and some of the more exotic drivers not available here.

2. How has MyGolfSpy changed the way you think about golf equipment?

It is now the ONLY site that I use when looking for info on drivers ,balls and any golf related gear. Bought my Bushnell Jolt as a result of reviews.

3. Have these purchases lowered your scores? (List which products and how much they have lowered your scores.)

Not lowered my scores but as an oldie the info on clubs and aids has helped keep me competitive and has enabled me to hang onto a single figure h/cap.

4. How have these purchases helped you enjoy the game more? How?

It tells me that age is not a handicap. Equipment is there to keep me competitive and believing I can stay competitive keeps me playing.

Ive purchased the Snell (MTB) ball, true links shoes (4-pairs) and the Renegar wedges

The balls are outstanding and will replace my prov1's. Now with access from a Canadian distributor they are easier to get.

My shoes are like wearing a pair of slippers and can play all day. The fact that they have a wide toe area is so good for my feet.

The Renegar wedges had some getting used to but once I had confidence in the setup for what ever type of lie was in front of me, I surely enjoyed playing with them.

As for improving my game I am in the same boat as many of us out there who can't seem to find enough time for the game.

1. Have you purchased any golf products based on MyGolfSpy reviews?  (Please list which ones.)

Absolutely. Taylormade M1 - after your review rather than 915F2/F3 driver.

2. How has MyGolfSpy changed the way you think about golfequipment?

Love the facts and quantifiable data - objective without the markeing hoopla. I am a die-hard fan of MyGolfSpy.

3. Have these purchases lowered your scores? (List which products and how much they have lowered your scores.)

Unfortunately no. Need more lessons and practice.

4. How have these purchases helped you enjoy the game more? How?

The fact that I have the latest equipment, although may not necessarily be reflected in my improved handicap, lets me know that I am not lagging in technology. Although, I must say that, the advancement in technology, lately, have been more marketing-hype driven than actual (and significant) improvements in technology.

1. Have you purchased any golf products based on MyGolfSpy reviews?  (Please list which ones.)

Negative... I have tested a couple of iron sets that I have seen on MyGolfSpy, but no purchases yet

2. How has MyGolfSpy changed the way you think about golfequipment?

I have enjoyed the articles and test data presented to us which has reinforced my thinking from long ago... don't but golf equipment based on marketing...test, test, test!

3. Have these purchases lowered your scores? (List which products and how much they have lowered your scores.)

No, necessarily.  Still a 7 and trying to a 6 but I believe more practice on putting green will provide the improvements I need to score better...

4. How have these purchases helped you enjoy the game more? How?

N/A...although I am looking forward to try the Evnroll next week!

In regards to the questions posed, I would offer the following....

1. Have you purchased any golf products based on MyGolfSpy reviews?
I have purchased Srixon balls, Sketchers Go Golf shoes, and component heads/shafts/grips based on product reviews/discussions.

2. How has MyGolfSpy changed the way you think about golf equipment?

For sure! Not only is there information provided by staff articles, but you can open up a forum thread and get feedback from other players. After decades of living with 'off the shelf' gear, the site opened up a world of fitting and customization that I had not been aware of for 'weekend warriors'. Many long time golfers assume others are aware of these things, but not everyone has the advantage of local club builders/fitters or even knowledgeable retail staff who can properly fit you. Yes, it actually does make a world of difference!

3. Have these purchases lowered your scores? (List which products and how much they have lowered your scores.)
I have indeed lowered my scores. I consistently broke 90 this summer with a low gross of 85. This is a drop of 7-8 shots a round over last year. A change of ball (to Q-Star), and working on properly sized clubs (shorter shafted driver and putter) led to more distance AND accuracy off the tee, and fewer 3 putts.

4. How have these purchases helped you enjoy the game more? How?

Obviously lower scores help to make the game more enjoyable. Just as important however is hitting more QUALITY shots per round. Hitting greens on approach shots that you missed previously for example because your tee shots are 20 yards closer. Making more quality chips and pitches because your balls now spin and check, instead of of releasing too much is another example. Feeling like your equipment and your skills have BOTH improved such that you look forward to playing, and have the expectation of a posting decent score.

Questions:

1. Have you purchased any golf products based on MyGolfSpy reviews?  (Please list which ones.)

Purchased an M1 Driver, based on the most wanted driver and a personal demo.....and I may be buying the Precision Pro rangefinder in the near future based on the review thread

2. How has MyGolfSpy changed the way you think about golfequipment?

I no longer take the manufacturers word for everything, and read MANY reviews from different sites, especially this one....we all know some of those words are bought and paid for

3. Have these purchases lowered your scores? (List which products and how much they have lowered your scores.)

I am hitting the M1 very well, I couldn't say if it has actually lowered my scores or by how much....but I do have a great deal of confidence with it

4. How have these purchases helped you enjoy the game more? How?

I enjoy the game no matter what, but having a driver you love and are confident in, is always a pleasure

More than likely my first purchase that'll be able to be listed are either the Snell or Kirkland balls in the spring when it'll be time to restock for the 2017 season.

1. Have you purchased any golf products based on MyGolfSpy reviews? (Please list which ones.)

Taylormade M2 Driver and 3W, Evnroll Putter, Snell Balls

2. How has MyGolfSpy changed the way you think about golf equipment?

I really enjoy unbiased review. It's nice getting an honest opinion and being able to see unpaid reviews based on facts and numbers rather than shameless promotion of a product with zero stats.

3. Have these purchases lowered your scores? (List which products and how much they have lowered your scores.)

The Evnroll putter saves me probably 2 putts a round based on confidence knowing that on an offcentre hit, I'm still going to be close to the line I picked. The M2s are just really long and really forgiving.

4. How have these purchases helped you enjoy the game more? How?

I always used to be scared to 3-putt. With the Evnroll I'm much more confident and that makes being on the green much more enjoyable. The M2s just look and feel so good that even on poor swings, I'm only 1 fairway over rather than 3.

Question 1- yes, I ended up buying a taylormade m1 last year when you had that interactive chart comparing the M1 vs the Cobra King. Knowing all my swing stats, I could see the M1 was the better fit for me- then I went and tested both clubs and found my stats matched almost to the number with your chart.

Question 2- mygolfspy has opened my eyes to reality vs marketing BS that all the companies use.

Question 3- hard to say as lessons have certainly helped, but the hdcp has dropped in last year from 3.4 to 1.2. I stripe the M1 so that correlation can be made.

Question 4- yes, fairways are way more fun to play out of than the rough.

Callaway Paradym 3 wood

1. Have you purchased any golf products based on MyGolfSpy reviews?  (Please list which ones.)

SCOR Wedges, not a puchase but a review of MLA putters added a putter to my bag.

2. How has MyGolfSpy changed the way you think about golf equipment?

I look here before anywhere else when looking in to new equipment.

3. Have these purchases lowered your scores? (List which products and how much they have lowered your scores.)

The MLA putter has shaved 2 to 3 shots a round, I'm still adjusting to the SCOR wedges, but they are breaking even with the wedges they replaced, so hopeful scoring will improve as I get used to them.

4. How have these purchases helped you enjoy the game more? How?

I'm definitely enjoying golf more playing with the MLA putter. Put simply, I'm more chance to put the ball in the hole.
