Would love the opportunity to compare this to my Odyssey #7 tank cruiser putter. I have been working very hard on my putting for the last 9 months and it has paid off. I play 80 rounds per year. Last handicap update was 2.9.

A couple of months ago we put Guerin Rife's EVNRoll putters to the test. Much to our surprise, all 4 of the EVNRoll models we tested outperformed our 2016 Most Wanted Winners in both the blade and mallet categories. That's right; the EVNRoll bested the legendary PING Ketsch and the Odyssey White Hot RX #1

 

EVNRoll Technology

The explanation for EVNRoll's performance can be found in it's unique (and patented) groove design. The proprietary design does two things.

Firstly, the grooves transfer more energy to the ball on off-center hits. Like PING's TR Grooves, EVNRoll's grooves structure effectively reduces ball speed at the center of the face, while progressively increasing it towards the edges. The end result is the ball comes off the face at the same pace regardless of where impact occurs.

Secondly, EVNRoll's milling pattern helps gear the ball the back towards the center on those same mis-hits. Putts not only roll the same speed, but they also roll to the same spot.

Sound too good to be true? We thought so too...right up until our test results validated the claims.

MyGolfSpy is looking for six golfers to put the EVNRoll putter to the test. Forum members selected to participate in this test will work directly with Guerin Rife (via phone) to get fitted for the right EVNRoll model. Once you receive your putter, test it head to head against your gamer and report your findings.

Sounds like these EVNRoll putters have built some credibility in early test and amongst a few You Tubers. I would love to give a perspective!

2. 5.8 Handicap

3. Currently gaming a 35inch Bettinardi Studio Stock #16, standard loft and lie with an odyssey super stoke tank putter grip.

The last couple years I have played about 60-70 rounds per year. However, I just joined a new club that has 2 courses and is 5min from my office. So I expect I'll play 100+ in 2017.

 

Current handicap is 2.8. Started the season at 0, went as high as 6, worked my way back down to 2.8.

 

Currently game a SC Newport 2.5 with Nippon NS Pro Heavy shaft.

 

For context, putting is the absolute worst part of my game. This summer I shot a personal best -7, 65 and missed 8 birdie putts inside 15'. I putt primarily by feel and have incorporated looking at the hole (Speith) for anything inside 30'. My greatest weakness is leaving the ball 6-12" short, and missing below the hole on L to R. By contrast, I'm probably 80+% on uphill R to L inside 15'. I generally feel good about the putts I hit, they just don't seem to find the cup.

Average 75 rounds plus per year.  Handicap 3.  Currently using a T.M. Ghost Spider, 33 inches with a Super Stroke Slim 3.0 grip.  Interested to see if the ER6 iRoll is a step up in comparison.  Leaving shortly for winter in AZ and will give it a good workout.

I'd love to try the putter.

From Aug 2105 to July 2016 I played 144+ rounds. Since August 1 this year I've played 55.  My GHIN is 27, so obviously from the number of rounds you can tell I'm retired and not a pro...

 

Ok...I usually putt a 1 or 2...sometimes on severe greens may do a 3....

 

I have an Odyssey Works Versa #1 Putter that I've been pretty pleased with.  But willing to try and comment on something different.

I play typically around 60 rounds per year since working part time at the Whispering Firs GC.   My current handicap is 5.0 and I play a PING 1/2 Crazy center shafted putter.  My short game and putting are my best assets while golfing.
