cksurfdude
Today is special as my Dad served in Pearl Harbor. He would sit and talk to me about what happened during the early morning of this historic day. As a Vietnam veteran myself, I could relate to the fear and anxiety that those brave men faced during the attack. God bless those soldiers who are still with us and the families of those loss on that fatal morning.Hats off to you, Sir, and to the memory of your father! It truly amazes me to see and hear the stories from the (literal) handful of guys still around who were there...... fozcycle and ole gray 2 Quote WITB of an "aspiring" play-ah ... TheWahoo
I prefer the term experienced....LOL I agree. I also don't know have the term "old fart" became popular. The older one gets, the more one must be careful about passing their gas because as one ages their dreams become dry and their farts become wet. Its like the elderly lady sitting in church with her husband. She leaned over to her husband and said--it just cut a silent fart, what should I do. The husband replied, the first thing I would do is get a new battery for your hearing aid. Popular Post Kenny B
You may or may not know that my wife and I formed a 501C3 non-profit called Perfect Image Leadership Foundation in 2009 dedicated to the development of positive life skills in at-risk youth. (It's a long story on how this got started.) It's a small organization because at the time we both still worked at full-time jobs. This week we were notified that we received a $5000 grant from a local community foundation to support activities in a small rural community. Our foundation has a program to teach business etiquette and leadership skills in youth so they can gain access to better paying, higher quality jobs. cksurfdude
They certainly don't get it from school, and many kids that we see don't have a great family life either.Kenny - is the Foundation's address in Richland, WA? Tax ID ends in ..9654? By that definition, your wife and you are surely living successful lives. I congratulate you and admire you for your efforts to improve your world. If you would prefer not to publish a mailing address for you organization, could you PM me so that I may provide a modest donation. PS: If you send a PM let me know, otherwise, I might not know I got or how to retrieve it. When it comes to this computer stuff, I'm rather illiterate. cksurfdude and Golfspy_CG2

ole gray
Good Lord at the new members jumping on board today!!! I was scrolling through the signees for the Bushnell range finder review and saw a boat load of folks from Georgia and the southeast in general. Hell it made me dizzy just looking through all the recent newbies on board. Great thing for the community and I hope all those folks don't just taste the pie but enjoy the whole menu.
