Went out bag shopping with my 13 yo but did't really find anything that worked for him. DSG had a Maxfli junior bag that was a good size and weight but the shoulder straps were WAY too wide for him. I'm going to keep an eye on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace to see if I can find something for him. My wife's making noise about getting him a push cart too, which I suppose would make the size/weight of the bag irrelevant. It's times like these that I *really* miss Golfsmith since there's no other place even remotely close to us now that we could see a decent selection of bags/carts.

I would second the push cart. Too many injuries from carrying bags around the course, especially if you are worried about the weight.

I agree about the push cart.  If buying a bag and a push cart, I recommend a carry bag that will fit on the cart.  Try out different combinations  before buying.  I lucked out when I got my carry bag; it fit my SM MicroCart.

I use the cart when walking, but having a carry bag to just go to the practice area is worth it IMO.

I agree with this- now to find a carry bag that sits well on a push trolley and works on a trolley i.e access to pockets and clubs not tangling trying to get them in and out. A carry bag with a separate putter well and easy brolly storage would be awesome but I dont think that exists

My oldest daughter was doing a study abroad program in Paris. She flew back yesterday through JFK. Arrived in New York to find that pretty much every flight to get her to Cleveland was canceled and that her only option was to hang out at JFK for about 25 hours. She asked about a hotel for the night and the Delta agent said, "oh sorry, we don't do that any more." She tried to get comfortable on the tile floor in the ticketing area. I checked Google and said hmmm, I can make it to JFK and back in about 14 hours and hit the road. Left my house at 9 pm last night, hit JFK at 4 am, arrived back home about 12 hours before her flight would have landed in Cleveland. I'm really tired but it was worth it to have the 7 hours in the car to hear all the stories of her time in France with zero interruptions.

That’s something I would have done also. Bad job on Deltas part. That time with your daughter is definitely priceless. A ride you both will remember.
Glad she’s home safe.

Anyone ever ride a mountain board? My son wants one for his birthday. It’s rather flat here and on a gravel road. Probably work better than a regular skateboard...

I've ridden every type of skateboard you can imagine. Those mountain ones are sick, but be careful on gravel because it's still slippery, and depending on how fine it is, can get lodged in the bearings. Teach him how to keep after them 😎

Nothing like taking a dive on some good ole gravel and having to pick that crap out of your skin

Oh I know. I use to skate... and bmx, mountain bike. And various other sports where I fell and ground my legs, arm, and head into mother earths finest gravel, concrete, rock... etc.

Thanks for the tip on the bearings. It isn’t too fine, I’m sure it wouldn’t feel very nice though.

Same. Broke front top two teeth twice doing BMX/freestyle as a kid. I think I still have gravel in my right knee from one particular wipeout!

Cut my right thumb and need a bandage for it. Doesn’t hurt but my apple products require passcode entering instead of thumb print. Pain in the rear.

How'd you hit it?

FWIW, I'm guessing both you and @Shankster are robots, so he may not be the best judge. 😉

Shawty went low low low low.

I always get nervous hitting someone else's clubs but this was even moreso since the head was so small. Felt great though, I could definitely have some fun out there with those Blueprints.
