My wife is offering free crew cuts. I’m the only one that accepted and wish I hadn’t. I will say maintenance is a breeze but it’s not a good look for me.

I hear ya! I'm about to buy some clippers and go to town on myself. I usually have the barber cut it at #1 on the clippers, so I don't know if I can do too much damage...lol.

I would probably freak out if I had to shave mine, I've accidentally done it a couple of times and the baby face look is not a good one for me.

They're definitely easy to maintain, plus you can run some cool water over it in the heat and it feels amazing.

I thought she might, she was threatening to give me a Mohawk since a mowed over a plant at her mom's house. She was pretty hot About that one.

That's the best thing about short hair, it's hard to mess up. 

 

@Kenny B it's crazy that the governers can still keep up appearances. I've always believed good leaders should set the example and suffer like the rest of us. Mullets or home haircuts for all!

I'd like to know as well since I am currently keeping those balls in a bucket. The one on ETSY is a bit over the top for me. Something a bit smaller and less obtrusive (and cheaper) would work for me

My wife volunteered to cut my hair, but we don't have clippers...I'm struggling to see how she is going to accomplish this.

I have had a beard since 1989; keep it trimmed reasonably short.  When I was working and traveled to Nuke plants.  I would have to shave to wear a mask.  After I got home, I always hated getting past that itchy phase.

I said that I am NOT a gardener.  To me, plants and weeds look the same until the plant gets bigger and has flowers.  Until then... fair game.

The funniest part is when my wife got done my daughter asked why she shaved a "V" shape on my forehead.  I didn't realize my hairline was headed backwards as much as it was.

That's why I keep the top full length it hides my receding hairline quite nicely.

I've had a full beard for 33 years. I usually keep it around 7 on the beard trimmer, and I shave a it lower on my face in a nice curve. Since I've been furloughed for 5 weeks, I've just let it go. It's up to 13 on the trimmer and I've just let my natural beard line take over. A few more trimmings at 13 and the rest of it will catch up. I think I might just let it go like that for a while... it's nice to just shave my neck...lol.

I've done it but especially with masks for the COVID you aren't protected if you don't have proper coverage if you have a beard.

Well, I thought a #4 would work but it didn't take anything off, so we did a #1 all over. She said she doesn't mind it, but I'd rather have skin on the sides and back...she, not so  much. BTW, sorry about the picture blur but she's not that great a taking them, which is strange for how many she takes.

I'd almost prefer to see the hat  I'm not allowed to cut my hair short, my wife says she is worried it won't grow back, I think she's really actually worried about the real size of my forehead. Probably pretty reasonable worry, my forehead will be an afthead in a few years.
