I used to pass time by playing “Hacky Sack” or “Footbag” depending on where you are in the world.

Bought one on a whim, still got most of my moves. But I don’t remember getting winded playing 20 years ago...

Got it for some lower body flexibility and mobility stuff. Might have a secondary function too, improving my coordination some.

Up to 12 in a row without dropping it, I think my record was well north of 100.

For nearly all of my 50 years of working, I had to dress in a coat and tie, and clean shaven until the late 1980's when I grew a beard.  The beard came off every so often when I traveled to plants where I had to wear a respirator, but that was only temporary.

Next week will be 3 months since I have had a haircut.  I believe that is the longest period I've had without a haircut since high school when I had a Ducktail.  Many of you youngin's won't know what that is.  I believe I am close to being able to have that style again, although it is a lot shaggier and a LOT whiter.  The problem is that I couldn't wear a hat, and today I need a hat.

See I'm headed the other way. Trying to do my best not to trim my beard or head hair. I needed a cut before lockdown but couldn't get an appointment with the stylist I usually go to so I just let it go. SWMBO is tolerating the look for now so we'll see what happens over the next month or so. Had to make a small concession and trim my mustache because it was starting to grow over my lips and get annoying. 

I look at it as an opportunity to try something new when this is over. The beard definitely won't stay but maybe I'll give the Patrick Bateman a try on top.

I've been asking my wife to just shave it all off but she won't.  I have so much hair that I had to go to the next hole up for adjustment strap for my hats...lol

Big Day for the Family & GDaughter. She committed to Villanova U. yesterday.
She was down to Final 4 choices Providence, Holy Cross, Stonehill & Nova. She was accepted to them in the Honors & High Honors programs with a GPA 4.85.
She was offered a couple of Softball Scholarships from D2 schools but wanted to concentrate on class work.
Now 3 more Gkids to go over next 4 years.
At least it’s a Big East school

She was down to Final 4 choices Providence, Holy Cross, Stonehill & Nova. She was accepted to them in the Honors & High Honors programs with a GPA 4.85.

She knew what she wanted at 15, sophomore year. She got her CNA then competed state & national. Came in 1st state, I think 3rd national. The college search really started junior year. Applied to 8 colleges a couple of them just to see if they’d accept her, they all did.
Her almost 16 year old sister has no clue what she wants to do although her grades are about the same.

Good luck w your daughter but every kid is different.

Villanova really went after her. An Alumni who lives locally called her which surprised us.

My daughter is a psychologist in Australia. She now 'sees' all of her patients via telemedecine guess it's like a Skype or Zoom lookealike. Now that's got to be interesting for both sides. .And yes she's very busy.

From what I’m told the Telemedicine is happening here also.
I’m sure there’s going to be uptick in the mental health field after this. Americans are not good at being confined and being told what to do.

Thanks, it’s been a interesting journey up to this point as we’re pretty close to our kids & Gkids. She’s been really moody last couple weeks as she’s looked forward to finishing her Senior year with flourish academically & athletically. she finished 5th in her class 4.85 gpa and will miss the softball teams run at the states as they have a really good team.
I’m happy w her college choice as she’s not a big school kid.

Where did you go , Temple?

I was thinking the same thing today. My last cut was the first week in March and I normally get it cut every 2 to 3 weeks. I can't stand how unruly it is - shades of the 80's for me. Looks like our salons will open mid May - can't wait.

I know the Cleveland Clinic is here as well for the quick med issues. I can't imagine a 30 or 45 min session.
