She looks like she's right where she wants to be. She's such a beautiful pup!

@Rickp & so have you @tony@CIC you've asked about the puppies. This was today with a friend who kept a puppy and my other friend who is the breeder of my female mom of these crazies

Awesome video @tommc23! The puppies are getting so big and it looks like she did a great job with the birds. I loved watching her lope through the grass.

The three pups had fun all did well in different things. It's my favorite thing to do is teach a dog how to bring out the natural instincts

Having grown up in New England and living in the Midwest for decades, the only time I get excited about snow is flurries (no accumulation) on Christmas Day.

I broke out a different set of sticks and practiced sliding down a slippery hill yesterday.  It's my once or twice a year reminder of how old I've become.
20210106_123416.jpg.b3d07174c2cbea4c1027f5f49ed8f5fd.jpg

It was a successful day because I got to spend it with my kid, I didn't fall or hurt myself (or anyone else!) and after an hour in the hot tub last night and this morning, a few advil and some stretching I can imitate an evolved person and walk semi upright in minimal pain from sore muscles!!
I did learn I shouldn't buy the 8 hour lift ticket any more, it is a waste of two hours since I was cooked at 6!  I should just get the 4 hour ticket, nap & wait in the car for the kid to finish her full day of fun and be less sore the next day!
It was good to see people being good about mask wearing, keeping their distance in the lift lines and being extra courteous as we merged to the chairs.  Much like golf a good outdoor activity that can be mostly safe if you want it to be.

Lucky you. Skiing is the one thing I miss about Maine winters. We were fortunate to have a small hill in town with a rope-tow and a ridiculously low annual membership (kind of like a muni ski hill.). All day Saturday, all day Sunday from the time I was 4. Some very good skiers came off that little hill.

Looks like I've been designated to help run the committee for our town music association's golf scramble this May. I've played in a bunch, but never helped run one, LOL! Thankfully one of the other parents has helped organize a few scrambles in the past, so we've got him to help out. Fingers crossed we raise some decent money for our scholarship fund, fundraising has been decimated due to COVID. Only downer is now that I'm helping out and I can't play in it 😉 We used to have an annual event years ago, it's been probably 7-8 years since we last held one and all the parents that organized/ran that one are long gone.

My freaking puppy is crazy. Came home from work yesterday puppy was out of the enclosure I have in my house so she can eat, drink, and go potty. This little thing found out how to ascend the fencing and get out, caught her red handed today while I put her in there so I could go do something without stepping on her. Not only is she super bold and highly confident she is a Houdini as well. No point putting her in there tonight or tomorrow night if she is just going to escape. Now I have to find a netting or something to put on top of is so she stays put. If I let her out when I work dayshifts my big dogs will eat her food and puppies need to eat multiple meals a day. Nights it isn't a big deal I'll just put the child gate up to limit her from peeing where I have carpet since she doesn't need to eat at night. Dang dogs I need to contact the breeder he did something wrong 😑😑😑😑 I was definitely not expecting this level of drive when I had this litter of puppies.

Kinda like the guys in the Navy with a Short timers rope clipped to a belt look--- Used to burn off a little more each day--- Drove officers and lifers crazy---- Knew one guy that could not wait to get out. Ran into him 6 months or so later when I was getting out myself. He had re enlisted said the economy was bad and he had a hard time getting a job. In those days there was a lot of bias against Vietnam era vets. He was a slacker anyhow because I had no trouble finding a job

Well last year I was counting down the days to my retirement April 1st. I had already cut back on my hours because I could only make so much at 63 years old. April 1st was my first official day. Like an idiot I agreed to work for the company 2 days a week. April 29 I got hurt and I had just started to enjoy my retirement. We had a mild winter so I was playing 3 to 5 times a week and loving it. But I am healing up and looking forward to warm weather. I am not pushing it too much in the cold and wet weather

3 years countdown! That would drive me crazy counting down everyday. Like watching a click move.
I gave a 2 years notice for my retirement but that was so they had time to come up with replacement (s). Ended up adding 2 people.
