I went yesterday and replaced mine with an Audi Q3. I've been wanting to lease an SUV, but never found one at the right price until recently. Our company was offering major incentives on the Audi brand and I couldn't pass it up. It rides good, looks amazing, and I've just always wanted a digital cockpit. Figuring out the radio was a hassle, but push enough buttons and it works itself out. Glad you found a good deal on this car. This was the car that my wife wanted a couple of years ago, when she was replacing her Mercedes. Found a used one but it had a couple of issues; one being the dealer. She ended up with a Volvo XC60 and loves it. TSauer
Just my company stock. I have a decent amount of shares that I’ve gotten every paycheck past 3 years. Stocks highest it’s ever been should I be selling a majority at this point with all this “market crash” talk? That’s a hard one. To me, it all depends on how long you plan on keeping the shares if you don’t end up selling them now. If short term, maybe 6 months to a year, then I might look into selling now if you don’t think it could reach much higher by then or if a crash is imminent. However, if you plan to stick with the company or keep those shares for a long time, it might be worth it to hold. If you look at the S&P and DOW over 5 years, they’re up nearly 100%. That doesn’t necessarily correlate exactly with your specific stock, but the market seems to recover over a long period. If it were me, I’d check out the chart over certain time frames and see how they’re doing. Also, since you work there you may have a good idea of how well they’re doing and if it’s a business than can still succeed if times get tough. I remember when I worked for Walmart a long time ago, share price dropped by like $25-30 into the $50-60 range relatively quick and people were worried. But now, it’s $130+. Just some food for thought. Hope that helps at least a little. If the stocks are being held in an account where you can do transactions (like a Fidelity or Vanguard) you could put in a stop loss order to limit the damage if the price starts crashing. Look at the price now and decide how far down it could drop before your discomfort level sets in and have a standing sell order at that price. The money from that sale should go into a money market under the same account where you could watch the price and buy back into the stock when it drops to a level you are happy with, or buy another stock you like. My discomfort level is about a 12% drop. I check it every couple weeks and raise the order sell price if the stock has kept going up but I generally don't lower it if the stock price has gone down since the last time i checked. edit to add.....I am no expert at stock investing, just self taught and trying to keep from losing it all, so take this for the 2 cents it's worth. tony@CIC, toehold57, tommc23 and 3 others 6 Quote Modern Bag: G410 LST 10.5*, Hzrdus Smoke RDX 6.5 Flex; 915F 3w, Diamana S+ 70 S flex; Snake Eyes 18* 2h, 23* 4h & 27* 5h; JPX 900 Forged 6 - PW, PX LZ 6.0; Edison 2.0 49*, 53*, 57* KBS Tour 120 S; Heppler Fetch; Ball - MTB-X; Bag - Jones MyGolfSpy Edition! Florida man drowns while searching for lost golf ball, authorities say Updated Mar 01, 3:02 AM; Posted Mar 01, 3:02 AM By Cliff Pinckard, cleveland.com OLDSMAR, Florida — A 74-year-old man was found dead in a pond on a golf course Sunday and authorities believe he likely fell in while searching for a lost ball. The body of Hermilo Jazmines was found by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office dive team at the East Lake Woodlands Country Club, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. Jazmines was golfing with a friend Sunday morning when he hit his ball in the water on the course’s third hole, the news release says. He was last seen looking for his ball near the water. Authorities say Jazmines went missing, although his cart was still parked on a path and his putter was found near the edge of the pond. The dive team found Jazmines in the water not far from the putter, the release says. Friends of Jazmines told deputies that he liked to look for lost balls while golfing. Some friend!!Good question I was also wondering. Evenings (after regular play) we would walk as many holes as we could get in with different guys. Some guys would play course regular, ball hawk or just play from tee box to different greens. Just kinda enjoying the evening, this could have been what was going on here. There are guys who pride themselves on never having to buy a golf ball and they turn every pond into a “fishing derby”. Florida can be a dangerous place around those ponds. Definitely a shame for this to happen. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy And talk about what contributes to slow play! Wife and I were playing behind a foursome where one of the guys had to walk along a bank on a par 5 (almost the length of the fairway) with a ball retriever. Really? Do you need that many Slazengers or Top Flites?? I'm ok with someone fishing for balls just do it sensibly and don't hold up the group behind you. Sorry rant over. edingc
Got my new GoPro today and had to brush up on the editing skills a bit before breaking it out for golf-related things. Safe to say I majorly annoyed the dog this afternoon: Going to take a bit of practice with the frame rates and resolution on the GoPro before things get real polished. It's been well over a decade since I've done any video editing outside of iMovie and I'm pretty rusty (using HitFilm Express at the moment). cnosil, MattF, sirchunksalot and 6 others 9 Quote Unofficial WHS Handicap: 7.5 / Anti-Cap: 13.0 (Last Updated Feb. 19, 2024) Driver: Callaway Paradym TD (10.5°, -1/N), 45.75", Fujikura Motore X F1 6X | Fitting Post 3 Wood: Cobra RadSpeed Big Tour (14.5°), 43", Fujikura Motore X F1 7X 20° Hybrid: PXG 0211 (2020 Model), 40.25", Mitsubishi Tensei AV RAW White 90X 4 Utility: Cobra KING Utility (2020 Model), 38.5", Aerotech SteelFiber i110cw Stiff 5-PW: Ben Hogan PTx Pro, 37" 7 Iron, Aerotech SteelFiber i125cw Stiff | Club Champion Fitting 50°, 54°, 58°: Edel SMS, V Grind, Nippon Modus 125 Wedge| Official Review Thread Putter: L.A.B.
