A little confused but that’s typical some days.

MGS has made a few updates/changes so I lost my usual access to the Site.
it will take a little time but it’ll work.
a lot of Ads though, have to figure a way around that.

A few of the members posted recently about a workaround for eliminating or reducing the ads. Unfortunately I don't remember the thread.

I’m starting to almost like the new MGS setup which is surprising because I don’t like anything!

Seriously, after the initial panic it will be OK.

I had to order a couple replacement irons today.... My builder, who I’ve worked with since the early 90’s, had an associate take the heads off my shafts for my re-shaft. Well, the person used too much heat and “wrinkled” the backs of three iron heads. They’re paying for them to be replaced, but what a costly mistake! Ugh.

I downloaded Adblock browser, it's kind of like Chrome and keeps the ads away pretty well. I just got the email that the app is no longer up and running.

Thanks!!  I’ll check that out.

My “Junk Email” has been brutal  lately, I will need something to combat that.

we bought a new washing machine and Weber grill, junk ads came flowing in after I registered them online. Hmmm 🤔

Hmmm, must have used a heat gun or something instead of a torch. I don't see that happening with a torch that is targeted on the hosel unless he left the torch on for an extreme amount of time.

Agreed. I only use a heat gun for shaft pulls, since it does't get that hot. He must have gotten it glowing for that to happen. Ugh.

I feel like a heat gun is a higher risk because it doesn't concentrate the heat all in the hosel compared to a torch. Heat gun you are basically heating up hosel and head.

It depends on the heat gun. I have a metal funnel shaped cap that focuses the heat. I also don’t crank up the temperature.

So i see a golf size/shaped box at my front door and i am like what on earth did i order. Don't think i ordered any clubs recently. Then I realized i ordered a golf umbrella...

I have two golf umbrellas that are 20 years old; BOGO free.  I've used one of them maybe 5-6 times for rain and that was when I traveled to the Seattle area.  I rarely play here in the rain, mostly because when it rains, the wind blows.  A golf umbrella here is a PITA!!  I did use it one summer for shade when walking our course, but in the mornings after the sprinklers have run all night, the umbrella traps the moisture under it and it feels like walking in a sauna!!

I always have an umbrella in my truck but, I rarely take it on course with me. The only time that I have actually used it was during mid-summer, mid-day rounds for shade and I was thankful that I had it.
