I bought a pair of Footjoy Stratos shoes back in 2020, and after just three rounds in the simulator, and 2 rounds on-course, the area in front of the right toe, midsole and outsole, was already worn down, and separating. I sent them back to Footjoy to see about a replacement under the warranty. I was happy to see a box on my front porch from Footjoy today! Brand new pair!!!

No more using these on turf!!!! The soft midsole wears out easily!

Man, after looking at the MGS comparison tool I am really considering taking my stash of Tour B XS’s and seeing if I can’t do some kind of exchange to go back to the Pro V1.  The low compression of the Bridgestone would suggest I’m giving up some distance, and if you buy in to the tool (and I do) I’m more likely to get a “bad” ball in the batch if I stay with the Bridgestone’s.

I drove into town from my trip to Portland this afternoon and I didn't see any smoke.  At 5pm looking out mt front window, there is now big billowing clouds ofd smoke.  I guess it started up again.  💩  Now closer to my golf course!!  I have a tee time at 8am tomorrow; we'll see.

I got the J&J shot this morning which is poor planning on my part.  There were some doses available last minute yesterday, some appts opened up this morning and I took one of them.  If I would have thought about it a little I would not have scheduled on a Friday morning since the effects are likely to make for a crappy Saturday!!  😞  I should have scheduled for a Wed, the day after golf league night and two days before the weekend so effects wear off by then.

On my way back from golf this morning swung but my uncles house.  Him and his wife decided to downsize to a Villa and are having a Tag/garage sale today & tomorrow.

Couldn’t believe it had to park my cart in his backyard cars/carts everywhere people were buying all of his stuff.  His wife does have good taste so a lot of it is decent but WOW, Seniors love a bargain.

I didn’t stay long as I was pressed into helping load items into SUV’s and no tipping 😜

They bought a nice 2bedroom, 2 bath 2 car garage that should work for them.

A little advice:

1. If it's sunny and you go to the range, don't forget your sunblock.

2. If you happen to forget your sunblock, don't hit two large buckets.

3. If you happen not to heed this advice and have a buzzed haircut, don't wear a trucker style hat as the rays of sunshine can burn your head.

My wife is always making fun of me and my sun hat that I have, but first of all, i am trying to impress no one, and second of all, it prevents me from getting sun burned (in addition to sunscreen)

I played a couple of hours and decided beforehand to come home and grab both the sunblock and a bucket hat, looks kind of goofy on me but it does its job.

I think it's pretty funny, too. I imagine myself having a modified 1/2 Stewart Cink with the front part of my head still retaining its original, non lobster coloration.

Btw, I loved the picture of the fish you caught and am just in love with the beautiful scenery there.

We had a swimming pool growing up and I constantly got burned, so normally I'm good about protecting my skin. The bucket hats are great, I found an Under Armour at T.J. Maxx that was on sale. I bet your daughter had a fun time going on safari with her dad wearing one.

Got a problem to resolve.  Seems my G410 Driver has a broken/stripped adjusting screw.
I felt a little “rattle” Friday on a drive but didn’t see anything wrong.  Went to tighten the screw with the wrench and it just keeps turning, inside of thread in shaft may have stripped.

Anyone ever hear of this happening?

Wrong fire.  This fire started in the Yakima River delta where it runs into the Columbia River.  The freeway runs across the delta and the fire jumped the road.  They put that fire out, but a second fire started from what they said was an ember from the first fire.  They don't have a cause of the first fire yet, but I'm guessing it may have been caused by a vehicle or people who can access the delta area.

It's just a bunch of brush and small trees, but there has been a bald eagle nest in there; hope any birds and animals are OK.  Our golf course is just on the other side of the freeway, and smoke was pretty strong the last few days.

We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
