More I stew over it, the more it irritates me. Huge miss by Ping. I get it is not their realm to forge stuff… so don’t. The Blueprints were good, but the T100S are far superior feel wise. 

Not that they care, but they lost a fan here.

No love lost here, Ping is still top of my list. I’m just disappointed the clubs are so doggone expensive. Oh well, I can still dream until they’ll be used in a few years (and I’ve thankfully still got my Vapor Pro Combos).

So I have an ancient Kroydon 2 iron I have posted about a few times.  Last night I was swinging it in the living room………

 

 

haha. You thought I was going to say I broke something, not yet.

This is my favorite feeling club to swing.  It’s semi light, but you can feel the head.  I used to practice with it at the range for my tempo.  

Do you think a club builder could match the frequency of the shaft, and the swing weight?  I think I would enjoy having all of my clubs like this one.  The shaft is probably in the range of Regular or softer flex as we know it today.

Last week the wife sprung it on me that we should take a sight-seeing road trip/vacation since we’ll probably get orders and have to move next summer.  She initially wanted to do it Ryder Cup weekend, which I balked at, then she said “how about next week?” I put my foot down and said no way, it wasn’t enough time or notice.  

So, on day 3 of our trip!  Heading all the way to Glacier National Park today, spent days 1 and 2 at Mt Rushmore and the parks in South Dakota, including Badlands National Park:

After Glacier, on to Yellowstone, then family in Denver and a Braves game at Coors Field.

Have a great trip!  Three of our closest friends did what you are doing now.  One actually took an RV and drove out to Mt Rushmore from Maryland!

I don’t either, never will.  But they are making an impact in sports that is not good, at least in my opinion.

Guess I would have to read what they publish to see their position.  Any particular article or just everything in general?   As a non news source their goal is to generate discussion.  Basically like any show with talking heads,  some take one side of an issue while others take the opposite and they try to generate discussion.  By our having this discussion, they are fundamentally doing their jobs.

True. They are doing their jobs.  Nothing in particular, just an overall opinion.  I could go into detail, but that would probably be better for DM’s.  I don’t want to boil the pot before it even gets stirred.

Today was my oldest’s first day of High School.  I was a nervous wreck all day.  She came home and said it’s going to be a piece of cake… thank goodness.

 

Now I just have to buy her some pepper spray…

My son's high school just reported another 10 confirmed cases with 55 close contacts. 28 of those are now in quarantine. That's along with the other reported cases in this first 2 weeks of school. As of today, they will be masked (about time) for the next 4 weeks.

One of the writers was a student at a HS where I taught. To be as nice as I possibly can, he’s not my favorite kid I’ve ever run into. His blowhard personality fits right where he is…

Someone else had recommended that to us too, could only find it in large cans, vs something small she could keep on her at all times during the night if she had to be alone walking from the campus to her dorm.
