Old golf pencils are great when you have to mark wood to cut. You guys probably already know this, but I just had to mention it. The wife wants shelving in the bathroom for her plants.

Now just have to stain it.

I worked with an “old timer” who always had a Golf pencil with him, on his desk, in his cars, I mean everywhere.
Pics on the finished shelf please👍

I will definitely post up some photos once they're done. My wife has a plant addiction and is always looking for creative ways to get some room to buy more. I don't mind, it gives me an excuse to golf.

Finally no rain so got to work on some of the shrubs.  Started at 7:30, overcast but got HUMID around 9:00 and kept at it until 11:30.  So do a little more tomorrow, very little, everything hurts.

Finish Front next week.

Today is a weird day, I only have one of my three dogs in my house. I leave for a large hunt test in Iowa tomorrow morning and I’m only taking the dog which I am testing. Tonight will be odd with only one dog in bed, but I’ll actually get more sleep because the female I’m keeping is in heat so it will be quiet without my male around. The things males to try and get laid 😂😂🤦🤦

I cannot hit a hybrid. I've tried swinging it like an iron but that doesn't help. The possible shots I hit with a hybrid:

- Pull hook
- Pull
- Topped
- Straight but only about 30 feet off the ground

Should I just give up on hybrids?

I was this way until I hit the sub70 pro hybrid I hated every hybrid before that! I couldn’t get one to work right to save my life I thought I was never going to hit one well then I tested it and freaking love it. I don’t swing differently for any club I have in the bag

Could  be swing,  could be club.  If you can hit an iron or fairway wood well and get the right distance ditch the hybrid and don't worry about it.

Its probably swing. Hopefully this cleveland halo xl 4 iron will work better. Theoretically the 4 iron will be shorter in distance but in practice it won’t because i rarely hit the hybrid more than 100 yards due to mishits.

I know the idea is to hit them like an iron, but have you tried hitting it like a fairway? Depending on the shot, I hit mine either way.

Booking a round this weekend on a weekend brewery event. Have 8 that want to play including me most not big golfers. Do I just book a local municipal little less expensive but not the best reviews or do I book at a nicer course I want to play but is a little pricey?

Remember Brewery?  Good muni will do, if they're occasional golfers it will satisfy the requirement and save everyone from more costly damages due to shot traces off a less than sober club face.

Took it out of my hands. The municipal times (today was the first day I could book mind you) were booked out until 1030, we are trying to go early. Couple other courses I had my eye on have events and didn't have anything until 11.

Found a course wasnt initially on my radar but looks pretty nice and had a 730/738 tee time back to back so jumped on it. I let everyone know its a little more expensive @ 80 bucks and that if they dont want to play I can cancel a time, so far everyone is in.

I climbed a ladder!!!!

My wife said I was an idiot.  She told me I should check with @BIG STU, but I did it anyway.

My hitting bay is an enclosed patio behind the 3rd bay of our garage, and it still has the metal patio roof.  The little bit of rain we got on Friday produced a small leak where the roof is connected to the house.  I couldn't see any obvious holes, but caulked some older caulking seams.  The pitch of the house roof is quite steep; that was worse than climbing the ladder.

We are supposed to get another 0.3 inches of rain on Friday.  If it leaks, I'm calling a roofer!!

Think you could put a piece of metal flashing along that seem? Caulk under that should make a good seal and then it wont be exposed directly to rain either.

It's in the corner, and has flashing.  The patio and the roofing are done well; they are just 20 years old.  Time for a new roof anyway.  We bought the house nearly 2 years ago knowing that the roof would need to be replaced soon, but I was hoping to get a few more years out of it.  I really would like to make the "3 season" room permanent.  Re-roof and remodel!!

Still a bit frustrated because i accidentally flipped my electric cart over twice yesterday on the concrete path. Very minor chips on my putter that are aesthetic only but still not happy about it.

I did something similar with my Epic Speed when it was literally days old. I leaned it against a wall (head up) while I was grabbing my phone for some pics. It slid and hit a cinder block wall. Took a small chip of paint out, but I dabbed the chipped area with black glossy fingernail polish. You really have to look to see there is a blemish.
