russtopherb
I screwed up a grip install last night for the first time since starting to regrip my own clubs 5-6 years ago. No idea what I did wrong but I couldn't get the grip more than a few inches onto the shaft before it just stuck there. I ended up having to cut it off. Thankfully I had more grips in my closet so not a big deal in the long run, but I was like "WFT just happened?" MattWillGolf
A big shout out to Ping Customer Service. I went to use my G410 Crossover and noticed when setting up that that head was lined up funny. The shaft had twisted in the head. I called Ping, explained the situation and they emailed me a prepaid FedEx labeled and will repair it free of charge. They also asked what grip was on in case they have to re-shaft it. I told them I had an MCC Plus 4 teams and they asked what color. And indicted that they may not be able to be matched. He offered to throw a loose grip in the box instead of putting one on if I wanted to find one locally. That’s some excellent customer service.
