A couple of bunkers are getting some fresh sand. The straps are a bit on the firm to hard side so this is a nice development. They do that periodically at my course because the wind blows the sand out exposing a lot of little rocks. I can always tell when new sand has been added, but I fear the rocks are still there; just can't see 'em. sirchunksalot and Rickp 2 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

Popular Post BIG STU
Had a blast today played my home course with our fellow MGSer Tom The Golf Nut and his friend Tim. None of us played our best but we had fun. Beat the rain and thunder storms. I had arraigned this with Rob I turned the Motocaddy over to Tom to finish the tests. I am having knee problems with my right knee and can not walk enough to test it like I want to. And in his area of Tennessee it will get more hills to wring it out on. So it is a win win. I am having problems with the right knee and I can play golf ok as long as I ride. What the quandary is right now is the insurance has a fund set up for future medical care relating to the accident. Right now they are not sure if it has to do with my permanent nerve damage in my back or something else. I am thinking it has to do with my Medicare kicking in full effect in September or my full disability kicking in at any time. I got my lawyer working on it now. Yup, a couple years ago at Wally World I was looking at balls and opened up a box of Titleist and there were Nitros or something similar. Brought it to one of the workers and same answer, happens all the time. Lately Wally World ball selection is minimal I would imagine in response to the problem. Shankster
I have like a 46 way miss going on right now. Yes, guessing game on which way the ball is going to go. Not even sure how that is possible, but I have figured it out. Today was a push draw that didn’t come back enough. Yesterday it was a straight draw that drew too much, and the day before it was a 3 yard fade…guess I just aim down the middle and see what happens. Kenny B
This year my course ordered new flags for the flagsticks; Blue/White, Yellow/White, and Red/White for back, middle and front locations. Six of each color for the 18 holes + three extra for each color... so 27 flags. I think the cost is around $1000. In the last 2 weeks two flags... just the flags... were stolen off the flagsticks; and they took only the Yellow/White ones. We now have only one extra Yellow/White flag left.
