BIG STU
12 hours ago, Kenny B said: Profiling. Anyone driving at or under the speed limit... everyone else drives 10 over. About 20 years ago I was the roving mechanic for a concrete company. Actually we had some 24 hour pours going with all the high rises going in. I loved those nights on call. We got double time for being on call and a paid 8 hr minimun. Anyhow I had been on a call out and was going home. Was coming up the Garden City Connector in a company service truck at about 4 in the morning. The speed limit was 35 MPH (still is). Back then the County Police worked traffic some. I was coming through doing 35 and saw one at the Indian Wells clubhouse. He pulled me I suspected at first for suspected drunk driving. He told me he pulled me for running 35 MPH. I said ok why? that is the speed limit. He wanted to know where that was posted and I told him. He rode back down where I told him the sign was posted. He came back looking sheepish. Come to find out he had transferred to this end of the beach and was not familiar with the area thought the speed limit was 45. He was like DAMN!!! I could have wrote at least 15 tickets before I came up. We got a laugh and went up to the C-Store and had a cup of coffee. LOL we became friends after that and later on he became the section Sargent. He retired in 2020. Popular Post GolfSpy_SHARK
Well not much time passed from us selling our old house and striking a deal on a new one. My wife and I visited about 14 different houses for sale. Nothing really struck with us so we kept going, until we got to what we put an offer in for. We walked in and we only needed to tour for about 5 minutes before we both said this is it. We are super pumped as the purchase and sale agreement just went through today.
