My GHIN was at 6.7 yesterday when I posted a score. I must’ve lost a couple scores in the 70s in my calculations because after a 79 on a 73.3 course rating I moved-UP to 7.0
Sheesh!

You probably had a low score that dropped off the 20 and therefore not in the calculation of the best 8. Just one low score could do that.

oh my fault, i didn't click on any of the colors and it shows all of the sizes in stock
what size and colorway are you hunting for? i'll keep my eyes peeled and hit you up on twitter or something

edit: GG still has most sizes in black or white, but the actual Brooks colorway is limited: https://www.golfgalaxy.com/p/nike-air-zoom-infinity-tour-golf-shoes-20nikmrzmnfntytrwgsh/20nikmrzmnfntytrwgsh

Yeah, I’d only want the BK colors. Looks like I’m SOL.

Yeah, I’m sure that’s what it was. Just funny, though.

Never submerge a driver head in a bucket of water. Did it for cleaning, left it in for less than 5 minutes, now there is some water in there. Right now, it is a very minimal amount of water, less than 1 gram, but it is annoying.

I've done that only for a in and out though never let it sit and I never got water inside. I would dip wipe off and repeat until clean.

I've never filled the bucket enough to cover the hosel of any of my clubs. Since I use hot water, I think I'm afraid something will happen to the epoxy. Just a habit I've gotten into, I don't know if there is any real "science" behind it.

In seeing the Kirkland putter thread, it came to me that of all the clubs in the bag, putter HAS to be the one that one gets fitted for the LEAST by about a 10:1 ratio.
The most often club used in one’s bag, and we buy them “off-the-rack” like it’s nothing. MGS guys and gals too! Amazing.

I'll bet the 'no access' to restrooms is a big hit with the ladies. Ours were closed in April and the golf staff heard from my wife several times.

I am having a random streak of incorrect orders/deliveries in the last 24 hours:

Email last night from the District Golf Assn. The District Championship has been postponed until next year.

This is a bummer but I’m not entirely surprised. I’ve got 406 more days to practice until next years qualifier. 😊

... Haha guilty as charged. I made that mistake with a Spyder putter when they first came out and were so hot on tour. I figured if so many that need to make putts for a living are switching to the Spyder, there must be something to it. My next 2 visits to the PGA SS I rolled about 50 putts and the Spyder was deadly, especially from 6 feet. So I bought one. First round on the course was a disaster. While putts on hard, fast and very flat carpeting at the SS were very accurate, adding slope with slower green speeds made judging distance very difficult with the Spyder. I basically had no feel with the Spyder and putted horribly, especially longer putts. This was a huge problem as putting is a strength of my game and after only 2 rounds I had zero confidence in my Spyder. I should have known better as I have always played with heavy toe hang, but after going through a spell of missing a few short putts hitting every short putt that seemed to find the center of the cup at the SS seemed like a no brainer. Never to old to learn something new. 😳

Absolutely the same for me. I hated everything about it. I traded for one with a spy, used it for 3 holes and couldn’t make anything.

As much as I try to find a different look when the putting isn’t going well, I always go back to a heel toe Anser.

... We really are a pair and should know better. 😅  I normally pay little attention to Pro's equipment as anything from the best in the world but the short game is radically different than my capabilities. Putting and wedge play would be the exception and when so many on Tour switched to the Spyder so quickly and with great success, I was seduced.

Seduced...that’s it right ther.

I was talked out of my 8802 in high school and trusted the advice because it was someone I respected that said “good putters use forgiving putters.”  I did well with that and continue to use a heel-toe Anser style but always had luck with a blade

I wonder what would have been different...I was a good putter with that blade.

... After playing yesterday I came home to the Titleist box sitting by the front door. I was not expecting it til Monday or later so thanks to Titleist for shipping so quickly as I will play them this weekend. They really look just about perfect at address with the thinnest top line I have seen In a Players Iron. I am also looking forward to playing the Kuro Kage 105gm Tini shafts to see how they compare to my Recoil 95 Prototype and Steelfiber 95s.

... I was pleasantly surprised that the W2 wedge is labeled 48* as the "2" with the P can be small and not easy to detect in the bag and confused with P1. Just a nice touch.

I've gotta be honest, I find the San Diego golf scene to be a bit underwhelming. But having spent the last 4.5 years in Monterey, CA and Hawaii is that really a surprise? There are worse problems to have I suppose!
